Has anybody here actually tried the game and enjoyed it? I need some more opinions. EVERY review besides NL (which is very few to tell you) has been positive though rarely masterful, but they typically aren't nearly as comprehensive as the reviews here, so I need more opinions before I burn $8.

Sorry I lack the eshop money to pick it up and try. Though I'm as curious as you are, I have played low scored games here and lacked them, just due to the cleverness of the review scores here, meaning a low score can still be a good game. Hopefully some impressions will show up here eventually.

[21:36] BadKitty: I see people are excited to play as LJM xD
[21:38] Aqueous: It should be fun but it makes me worried were you are in episode 1
[21:38] BadKitty: Dead xD
[21:38] Aqueous: :O

Really, it's just a skill-based RPG battle system. The diversity of skills and spirits is pretty good, especially for a DSiWare game, although it's YMMV on whether the character designs are charming or lacking. It's also really easy, and so while some skills do form nice combos with others, the game never guides you in that direction since it's possible to defeat everything by just spamming two or three attacks over and over.

BTW, has anyone figured out what the version exclusive spirits are?

Haha, sorry. Didn't mean to insult anybody. Quality is (for the most part) subjective anyways.
