LOL. Well, I did download it, actually. Tonight. And I was completely let down by its... umm... girliness, but yeah, its pretty garish and unnecessarily girlish in spots. I hate how you can't turn off that darn female voice. I also don't like how you can't share your creations on the fly via a "facebook" or "email to" link... suckage. Big disappointment, but the ideas here are good, just badly executed. Seems like it was rushed and sloppily put together. The future of dsiware? I hope not! For something real and innovative, go download Battle of Giants: Dragons, which is a spectacular dsiware game.

I'm a guy and I got this...and I have to say that it's like an ADVANCED version of the DSI Camera app! There are A LOT of things you can do. i already played around with some of my old photos...IT'S AWESOME! I changed backgrounds and it look so ARTSY! and it's entirely up to the user to create something UN-girly! You gotta ignore the girly packaging of this app!!!

Heh heh. I found a photo I had taken of my dad a few months ago; and I glitzed it out; but I don't think I should post it up. LOL He's a pretty serious businessman. So it looks really funny; but I don't think I should take that risk.

Does anyone have both this and MySims Camera? If so, please post. I'd like to know how you think they compare and which one is ultimately worth it.

You're in luck KS8! I recently purchased MySims Camera shortly after my purchase of Sparkle Snapshots. If I had to pick one of them over the other, I'd have to go with Sparkle Snapshots. Yes, it's 3 dollars more but there really is 3 extra dollars worth of content here. You get frames, borders, different pen types, stamps, and a few other little things. Also, it's not impossibble to make a picture that doesn't look like a unicorn threw up on it. That said, MySims Camera isn't as terrible as people seem to make it out to be. You get six characters and about 20 short animations for them. All of which can be paused in the position you need. The characters are all 3-D polygons so you can rotate them to a precise angle as well as srink or enlarge them. Both are apps that I'm happy I bought so I would advise you to get both. However, if you have to choose and don't mind being ridiculed if friends find it on your menu, then go for Sparkle Snapshots. Be warned: It is way WAY over the top girly!

In my opinion, yes. MySims Camera is worth 2 bucks. That is of course depending on how much you like to fiddle around with pictures. I love messing with pictures so definitely worth it for me.

So do I so it looks like I'll be getting MS Camera in the end (after so much debating). I'll get it whenever I have leftover points with my next card.
