do you need to be a pro on music board to buy this game. Do they learn something on it?

@Cengoku - in Rytmik Retrobits we included 10 complete premade songs (and similar amount in each other editions of rytmik) which you can examine and use some of their fragments and rearrange them to your new composition. Of course you can start new song from scratch and tune every detail and every note to your taste. We made also some video tutorials which describe how to build a song in Rytmik - it is the same for all Rytmik editions, each edition just adds some new fetures and effects and has different sound library. You can youtube videotutorials here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VTz5r5Sf-pAhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=euR7JMR7XGk&feature=relatedhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dD9DKJl-3FU&feature=related
And of course we are preparing some new video for Retrobits...

@Martin_Linda When is Rytmik: Hip Hop going to release in the US? It's been taking AGES for it to get here. I hope it's coming soon.

Just got my first Rytmik game, Retrobits. I'm pretty overwhelmed right now, as the interface is much different than Korg DS-10, which I've been using. I made some cool patterns and rhythms after about an hour, but I need to aquaint myselfore with the software before I can try to make a song.
I really like the sound samples, and the ease of delay/panning/etc. I'm hoping some time spent with this will yield some good results
I've got the body of a taut, pre-teen Swedish boy.
Covers & Korg DS-10 Originals.

Picked it up today. They added a lot of things that are different from the first Rytmik, I have to play around with this some. But it's definitely more for me, all the wonderful chiptune sounds D:

MakoHasJagdTeth: Hi. The Shuffle button switches among straight rhythm grid and two different shuffle (swing) grids. It means that in the straight rhythm grid intervals between each two notes are the same. But in shuffle mode interval between each first and second notes is longer, than between the second and third notes. In Shuffle 1 mode the ratio is about 70/30% and in shuffle 2 mode it is about 60/40% with some random fluctuation that makes the rhythm a bit living - it is inspired by some famous shuffle modes in MPC machines.

hmm, this is good to know. i can hear a slight difference between shuffle 1 and no shuffle. now i feel like a stupid american but, are there any videos that show how to use it properly?

@MakoHasJagdTeth: there are no videos for this feature yet, perharps I could prepare some in the future. Anyway you can open some of my demosongs in Hip Hop King where the Shuffle feature is used. And you can edit it and compare the song with or without it.
