I know it just went up for download, but has anyone played Soul of Darkness yet? I found grainy video of the Cell Phone version and while the gameplay looks fun, its hard to tell.

If you buy Soul of Darkness, it replaces it with SteamWorld Tower Defense. (which if anyone has bought, I'd love to hear impressions)
I'm three-quarters through Soul of Darkness. The level design is appropriate, the length of the game good, graphics, etc...(I have played the majority of Castlevanias, and feel that this is indeed a "Casualvania," there are puzzles & so forth, but it all requires no brainpower or effort to solve. It's a fun diversion, and isn't entirely a cheap Gameloft knockoff, especially compared to their reputation here, I'd say it's quite good.
For example, gameplay-wise, it's inferior to something like Music Maestro from last week. The problem with Maestro is it may be great, but it's simply too short.
Thanks fore the heads up Xaph. Had a feeling it would be short like Castle of Magic. Nice to hear is not as easy though. I'm probably going to hold off getting it as I have a bunch of stuff to play already. I have no doubt that Order of Ecclesia will be 10x better then Soul of Darkness.
Download Soul of Darkness and this game is great best of gameloft so far to me. Not feelin StemWorld,Hello Flowerz,QuickPick,101 Shark Pets, or Flips:Faraway Tree i just pass by them all. Soul of Darkness best game to download for dsiware this week!
Finished Soul of Darkness. Let me stress this: it is not difficult, the bosses are insultingly easy, perhaps save for the final boss. There is no penalty for death; you simply select "Continue" and are backtracked maybe 30 seconds earlier in the level/boss battle. I have not played Castle of Magic so I can't compare the two releases. It is a soulless but good-looking and enjoyable Castlevania-imitator. Wait 'til the NLife review, though that could be days.
Still wondering about Quick Pick and Steam World, if they're any good.
Artial - The order of the reccomended titles varies according to which ones you have previously bought. It goes in this order: Nintendo DSi Browser, Flipnote Studio, either Photo Dojo or Mario Vs. DK, the other of those two, Real Soccer 2010, QuickPick Farmer, other stuff I can't be bothered to remember. So unless someone doesn't understand the concept of free to download, They're practically guaranteed to see it.
Interesting. It looks to me that, in EU, the 4 titles at the front of the shop are always 4 of the latests titles (so this week, its Prehistorik Man, Puffins: Let's Fish!, Maestro!, Extreme Hangman)
New games are pretty popular, I don't know exactly how the details work but I think with the trend a new 200 point game is guaranteed to show up in the top 10 for at least a week.
