@zezhyrule. I listened to your Mario song just before it was taken down. It was crazy accurate; I couldn't tell the difference. If you have a camera, maybe you should upload a video like Taya. That would show you made it!

@Starcross. I heard your song too. I think it's a great piece of (original?) music. I really like the sound of it. In fact, I'm listening to it a third time as I type this message XD.

@BlueCat. Thanks! I put a lot of work into it and I really like how it turned out. And yes, it's 100% original. You should definitely pick up Rytmik though. I'm sure once you get the hang of everything the game has to offer, you'll be able to push out some cool tunes.

@zezhyrule. Maybe you could even try really mixing it up. Like, keep everything the same, except just change the instruments you have playing. Maybe make it really synth-y, or piano-y, or awesomely bass crazy.

@zezh - don't be too mad--I've been watching the submissions and it already seems like a few people are ghosting accounts and voting for themselves--one submission's been getting like 1 like every day like clockwork, and it's pretty bad. The contest as a whole is very ripe for the tampering. I never got to hear the mario song--I'd like to though.

Jeez, that is bad. Maybe we should let Cinemax know, and they could figure out a solution. I think it would be more fair for Cinemax themselves to just have a staff vote, and pick the best that way.

Wow, that's plain bad sportsmanship. I don't really care about winning or prizes... I'm not even tracking my Likes or the other videos' Likes. I only made my song because I love the original and I wanted to see how far I could push Rytmik to match it. The only people I've shown my song to is you guys (not even friends yet since that would inflate the video's Likes) so I'm disappointed to hear that. :/ Some people take the competition way too seriously.

The prize is just DSi points and there aren't that many good DSiWare titles to buy anyway lol.

@Starcross64 Wow I really like your song. Very calming and ethereal. Catchy too.

@zez Haha I guess it's a compliment when your song is so close to the original that people think it's a rip of the original!

@Blue_Cat It's actually pretty easy to make music using Rytmik. It takes a few tries but you'll get the hang of it.

@BleachFan: It's a little repetitive for my taste, but I liked the overall feel of it. At least it wasn't all over the place like your last one.

WTF!? ALL of my videos, save the one I just made, were taken down! WHY!? They sounded nothing the same as the original tracks! Can't these people just leave me alone?

Edit: Okay, I give up. I just video recorded the SoM song, put on the same audio, and tried to upload it, and it got rejected. I don't even care about the contest, but there are other video game song covers with rytmik! Maybe I just wanted to upload it so I could share it on here!

@zez lol You don't have to be so harsh on hulklol. The pre-made clips are a good way to get started. I think that any contest entries which blatantly use them aren't valid entries though. But yeah, the song obviously uses pre-made clips and that's ok - just not good for the contest.

Your comment on the ghoster's video was removed by him lol. If you really wanna get serious, we could contact Martin and tell him to ignore that entry.
