@TheGreatBurrito Yes I have. Might I suggest a difficulty increase as the time increases? Maybe you could increase the speed of the snake. If you need any help, just ask!

@MyLegGuy You can find the game on the petit computer qr code sharing forum.

Some programmers pride themselves on how many more lines of code they can write. I pride myself on how many less.

I never go there (the qr code sharing thread). I think if you want the most amount of people seeing your game then post it on the petit computer wiki.
http://petitcomputer.wikia.com/wiki/Petit_Computer_Wiki

Unless you think your program does not deserve to be on the wiki.

I'm not going to try it now because I'm doing homework and I'm distracted.

I've posted many games on the wiki with little responses. Like Mortal Kombat, Scopa, Talon, and Impossible Mission. I'm looking for that next game to program. Any suggestions what people may like? There are many attempts to make a RPG. I am trying make sprites using GRPs and animate them top and bottom screen like Kings Quest. The mechanics are not working well with GPAGE swaping and CLS.

@TexMurphy
Have you ever thought about making a turn-based RPG. That would be cool if you made one. I'd get it. Just a suggestion

@Francis333
When you say turn-based do you mean a stradegy game where characters move on a map each turn or like a fight between two characters? I have been working towards an RPG, but it is more work that cutting edge programing for PTC. I have created tools like Mapit and Faceit towards that goal. We may have petit3D before I could get done with that. I'm still using a DSI XL. LOL. Not giving up though. My DSi on the other hand is cracking near the power light!

I just reached the 200 hour mark in Petit Computer! Definitely my favorite piece of software for 3DS. I am definitely gonna love SmileBASIC!

Also, I'll be releasing updates for a couple of games tomorrow. That should wrap all of my PTC projects up, and then I can just relax and wait for SmileBASIC to release.

I like makin' games!
Future Pinball games!
Petit Computer games!!
and SmileBASIC games!
Waiting for Kirby Air Ride 2. One day, it will come. One day...

I like both turn-based games you were asking about. I was sorta thinking about the latter though. And also, do you own a 3ds? I think the knew petit computer (Smilebasic) is coming out soon.

@mystman12
I'm close to 200 hours. Probably gonna make it there soon.

So, I have been developing for a time now, and have come up with an amazing concept- sprite loading. Basically, it has a que of sprites. When the que has been filled, it will stop loading until it detects that one of the loaded sprites has left the screen. Then it will find the next sprite to handle and load it, based on perhaps x or y location. The data per sprite is stored on different arrays with a generic loading function that will handle these arrays to pull it up. If you like this, please feel free to tell me. If you have suggestions, also tell me. (P.S. I have made a game with this, though you have never heard of it because I haven't uploaded it and am unable to anyway. It's a Geometry Dash clone)

Hello, hello? None of you probably remember me, but I used to be called Urchin8, or Vulpixel. I recently found out there was a redownload button (gasp) so I could get this again. I would like to let you know I am working on an upgrade for Petit Forest. That's really it. However, getting this again felt like being reunited with an old friend. There is a reason that even a year later it still holds 3rd place and 116 hours in activity log. (Animal Crossing and Pokemon have sucked 1st and 2nd.)

Hello, @Boot. I remember you, but only because I used to read a ton of pages. I wasn't there when you were.

Anyway, just a little hint-hint for anyone wanting to create long text files: There are as many colors in a GPSET to use as there are characters-256. You could use a GRP file!

For some reason I spent several hours making this little engine.

You can have up to 30 items in the little cave and move them with the touch screen. Also the stones automatically join to form "walls".

Yeah, I have no idea. Maybe I'll make a little pet sim out of it or something.

Meowph, that's right!

Oh look! A Morphloggery.
Oh! eShop Gurus.

I remember myself a year ago when I was more foolish, thinking that I could hype up a game and magically make it immediately. But my DSi doesn't charge anymore and I don't care about it enough to fix it.
Seriously, I'm looking back at myself a year ago and I'm realizing that I spent more time hyping the game than actually developing it.

I have nothing really to say about myself.

Wow, this place is really dead.
