I'm looking for some advice, is there any robust organizer or calendar app for DSi?

You could try My Diary
I've not downloaded it myself, though it was always one of those titles I meant to get.

Thanks for the recommendation Victoria Mahew, if you have any questions on myDiary or on any of our myLifeCollected range, feel free to ask.

Thanks! Does it use the R button? The R button on my DSi is broken...

I downloaded My Diary last week. It's pretty good and it's nice having quick access to a calendar. I just tried the L and R buttons and they didn't do anything. So you'd be OK, Mahew.

Pressing the R button toggles the toolbar off and on when you are writing a note. Pressing the L button does the same in left-handed mode But it's not the end of the world if your R button isn't working Mahew as the toolbar disappears from the note screen when you begin writing and reappears when you have finished writing.

Thanks for downloading Victoria Glad you like it.

Ooooh, I didn't realise that. That's pretty handy to make it stop popping up when you're writing ... though, as you say, it's not necessary feature if your R-button is damaged

Well... is there any specific reason why the calendar goes all the way back to 2000 every time I start the app? Really annoying... otherwise it's a nice small calendar app even if there aren't a lot of save spaces.

Boy, that's weird. Mine doesn't do that. It starts on the current month. The obvious question is you have the date set correctly on your DSi, right? Like, has your battery gone flat and it forgot the current date or something?Baring that I don't know. I'll send a message to nnooo via Facebook and see if they can help.

So, you really recommend this application? When I first heard the name I thought "LAME". But now... I'm convinced to buy it. It is rated 8/10 in the reviews.
Not extremely into nintendo at the moment, but not really into anything else either. :|

@Victoria is correct @Mahew, the first suspect to eliminate is the current date setting on your DSi. Can you confirm that it was set to the correct date when you started up myDiary?

It might be lame if you have some flashy electronic calendar app on some other device. I do on my computer, but it takes longer to boot up and I don't always have it with me like I do my 3DS So myDiary is pretty handy for me. I use it to jot down quick reminders of appointments, or even write down my shopping list on the day that I know I'll be going. You can see the whole month at a time, and which days have notes on them, so you tap on the dates to quickly see your notes. Those notes you no longer need (like my shopping lists after I've been) are easy to delete. And the app doesn't cost a whole lot ... so yeah, I'd say it's worth buying it.

@Mahew I assume your issue was related to the DSi date setting. If not, you can contact us directly at support@nn...

Did anyone else pick this title up? I'm curious if you've been able to unlock the the Theme and Ink Colours? I've had this since June, and use it fairly frequently, but still have only unlocked 5 theme colours and 6 ink colours. What do I need to do to unlock the rest?
16. Posted: Mon 12th Dec 2011 03:51 GMT
@Victoria, you will still be able to unlock some more theme and ink colours by continuing to use myDiary. Additionally, some theme and ink colours are only unlocked through downloading other Nnooo software:Pink theme and ink are unlocked by owning 4 other Nnooo games/apps on DSiWare.Yellow theme and ink are unlocked by owning 6 other Nnooo games/apps on DSIWare. Lime theme and ink are unlocked by owning 8 other Nnooo games/apps on DSIWare.Hope this helps

@Bruce_Thomson - Thanks. I knew if I asked you on here, you'd reply I thought as much about unlocking the colours. I have a few other Nnooo apps on my DSi. Maybe I'll transfer them over to my 3DS to see if that opens some more for me. By the way, are you guys planning on making any more apps like these? A good address book would be handy (hint, hint)

@Victoria, always happy to help Good idea, if you have 4 or more other apps you will unlock other ink and theme colours as described above. And remember, you still have other ink & theme colours you can unlock through using your myDiary app more.At the moment we're not planning on making any more myLife Collected apps. We're currently focusing on our new games escapeVektor & Spirit Hunters Inc. But you never know what the future will bring Thanks for downloading our software - you're a star!

Bruce-Thomson: can you tell us when Spirit Hunters Inc. Will be out ??? I'm really really interested in this title ???!!!

@Joygame51, we're currently bug testing & polishing Spirit Hunters Inc. It's really difficult to say when this process will be finished. We need to do plenty of testing to ensure the game is the best it can be when it comes out. Keep an eye on our website (www.nnooo.com) or our Facebook page (www.facebook.com/nnooo) for updates. And thanks for your interest!
