...are you serious? You're asking this question...on Nintendo Life...
I'm gonna have to go with Nintendo Life. In fact, I hate Gamespot. Their reviews are boring and just not very good, the forums are full of doucheturdfaces, and there is a RIDICULOUS amount of ads on that site. IGN is better, but I rarely go to either site. Nintendo Life is my homepage, and I am on it pretty much every time I have free time that's not filled by playing video games.
For anything wiiware, virtual console i come here. I get nintendo power for other stuff .I use gamespot for reviews on older ps1 and ps2 games or just screenshots and cheat codes as well.
I dislike both, although I'll admit, I've spent far less time at Gamespot, and I never read their reviews...well, I don't read NL's reviews either, so once again, I find both equally unappealing.
They are a series of reviews that tears into pretty much everything (in a good way). The reviews are usually pretty funny (check the link in BZs post), but there are always gamers that get pissy when he reviews something they enjoy.

Nintendo Life pummels Gamespot into the ground. Seriously, Gamespot isn't that good and their reviews are pretty poor and inaccurate. And it's true, they're not very interesting or compelling. I never use Gamespot and I haven't for years. Whereas here on Nintendo Life I'm always looking forward to reading reviews.
There he goes, Firkraag. One of God's own prototypes. A high-powered mutant of some kind never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live, and too rare to die. - My VGscore
I just left Gamespot for good last week. The forums are active, sure, but the community is pretty lame as a whole--not really anyone terribly interesting there. Also, Gamespot's Wii and DS coverage is absolute garbage. I'm much happier here at Nintendo Life

I will say, though, that I do love Gamespot's user-reviews section. I think if Nintendo Life added that they'd be...better. I was going to say the best Nintendo site on the web but they already are

I say nintendo life because Gamespot is too stricked, I got banned about a year after I joined and I know people who got banned only weeks after they joined.
Yeah I got suspened and modded constantly. It was for silly things too, like too many people giving me a "thumbs-down" on a comment.

I like Nintendo Life because Gamespot is very biased with their opinions against Nintendo. Well, Nintendo Life is the same for Nintendo, but I like Nintendo.

I usually like to read IGN's reviews for retail games along with Nintendo Life if there's one available. However, no site has the same quality of reviews for WW/VC/DSiWare, so I don't even bother with other sites much really for those. I also like the retro reviews. In general, reviews here are well written, funny, and give the information I will need to purchase a video game in about 1 page.
Other sites are better for news, NLife is usually behind. However, I don't really care about getting the latest news immediately (much of it is just rumors anyways). Generally for big stuff, someone posts a link in the forum, and if it's something I care about I'll go read it. I don't generally need more news for games than what is posted here, and I really don't mind if it's a day or so late for the most part (especially in regards to the rumors, it's best that they give them some time to see if they're not immediately debunked before they write an article).
The community here is also above and beyond anything I've seen anywhere else too.
I am way too lazy to think of something clever. My Backloggery
