Started playing these again, yesterday I played some Helmet which I might play again today, might try another...wish my scores from previous times was still there but this collection was deleted so now I start all over again, also might play some more of the Game & Watch collection 1 & 2.
Assuming you have a 3DS, Game & Watch Gallery VC gives you a lot more bang for your buck now, especially Game & Watch Gallery 3: I love DK II and Spitball Sparky.
Well I got these when they first came out and just wanted to play them again, I will be getting gallery 3 once a few more games come out that interest me.
Also gonna play some Donkey Kong Jr in a bit.
I never got the G&W VC game collections because of the way they're not exactly like the real counterparts. They look like they're not at the right ratio or something. Only G&W 4 that I recall has actually managed to get it right, and it even shows all the 'movement' images too. The DSiWare G&W titles are perfect reproductions of the actual games too. I'd rather get those than the VC titles, although I wish Nintendo released more of them. I assume they didn't sell enough to warrant more being made. To a new generation of gamers, the G&W games probably look 'ancient' and therefore 'not worth playing.' I grew up with G&W and prefer playing the original versions to the GB 'updated modern' versions. The only modern game I like is Chef.
It's sad Nintendo didn't release Mario Bros. on DSiWare At least there's Mario's Cement Factory though. Also, DK JR G&W is better than the arcade game.
Ya the only thing wrong with the DSi ware ones is that they don't have the alarm system in them, I still wish for a gallery or museum on the 3DS, welp back to gallery 3 to finish that game.
I actually used it as a clock when I had to go to a meeting at work. It was great I never knew it could be used as an alarm though, and I had real G&Ws!!
