It's also easier to get the gold and hero keys in multi player too.

Finally cleared Hero's Trail, it took about 3 revivals in the last fight, which was not nearly as hard as people suggested but I have cleared 4 swords, everything is done and complete. It was a great game but I think I'm going to do more multiplayer over singleplayer from now on, which means I'll play less but still a great game none the less.

I defeated Vaati! I was also doing the Realm Of Memories then, but, suddenly, I was done with it. Its just way too lenghty.

It's not to lengthy I cleared it in about 16 hours, but that was do to me dying a lot, keep going there are only so many levels to finish it completely, 3 vaati's place, 3 realm of memories and 3 Hero's Trail. Good luck

is it impossible to get 5000 rupees by yourself? im only getting 3000 or so and i cant get over 5000 rupees.
one more question, I played with one other person and when we have full health we get times two rupees, does it go to times 4 if we have 4 people playing?

I've played with three people it stays two times. To get 5000 rupees on your own as I mentioned earlier you have to wait for enemies to spawn and kill them, for example the skeletons are slow but as long as they can't attack they work well, moblin archers and like likes also make good choices to wait for then kill to get 5000 rupees

How do I get pass the boss in the Talus Cave. I keep dashing into him and he keeps getting into a block of ice but than what do I do?

When you freeze him slash at his frozen body, eventually he turns into a mutated octobrok, each link see the colour of another link on one of the four "bubbles" you have to dash into that colour with the correct link to finish it off, if you slash or miss you get zapped, so wait for it to stop, good luck

Ok how do I dash into the color evertime I switch Links his color switches.

That's the point, it's supposed to be team work.

If you're playing alone, memorize the position of one of the bubbles and attack it with the other Link.

Example: While playing as Blue you see a green bubble on top.
Switch to Green and attack that same bubble.
Green should be able to see a blue bubble, only the blue one. It's normal, that one is meant to be attacked by Blue.

Oh ok I thought you had to hit the color one that was showing the color not memorize where the color is at. Thanks guys.

How long is the main quest?

@Tasuki: You're welcome, these bosses are always confusing at first (It took me 30 minutes to figure out how to beat vaati!)

@Shingi: It can be as short as 2 hours (maybe even shorter) if you know what to do, but it is meant to be replayed at least 3 times with the maps changing every time you play and the whole thing getting harder.
It's also a great game to play with friends.

@Tasuki - your welcome, glad to have been of some help, that boss stumped me for a little while when I got to the colour part before I figured it out that the link showed where the other link should attack

@shingi_70 - I managed to beat the main quest in an hour and 41 minutes and it was my first time playing, then giving about 16 hours later I beat the entire game and I spent about 4 hours of that or more on the last two rooms of Hero's Trail and then because the levels are produced at random it has excellent replay value and if you have friends there are more level combinations and it is even more fun

4 worlds, each containing two levels, and a boss. They may last a long time and short time, depending on how thoroughly you decide to hunt for rupees. When you beat the game once, it gets just a little more different, and harder, until you have beaten the game 3 times.

This is one of the best things Nintendo has done in a while, Four Swords is a blast. Plus, since I have a DSi, a 3DS and my cousin has a 3DS, their can be 3-player.

How? Whenever i throw bombs in the tornado, he keeps throwing them out!

You have to detonate the bombs when they reach the same height as Vaati for him to take a hit, and in quick succession to prevent him from negating the damage.

To be a little more clear than Birdman, You don't have to wait for the bombs to blow up by themselves. You can detonate the bombs whenever you want by pressing Y again. Just Press Y again when the bomb is just under Vaati.

If you read the message that pops up everytime you pick up bombs, you would know that you can detonate bombs yourself by pressing Y again.
