I downloaded this earlier this morning. So far I am loving it. There is a 3 second load time when its loading a new puzzle, there is a little clock that shows and then the puzzle appears. Is that what you mean? I used to own the original, too. I think this version is slightly better.

I really like it. The only issue I have is that I have never in my life heard of any of the musicians they are using. I love the rest of the categories. I like that they're broken down and it'll go through a good number before you get a repeat. Well worth the $$ IMO.
