@rayworld where can you get the game for cheap? At gamestop it can be up to 60 dollars, and it's no less on Ebay.
Anyways, I personally think that Pop+Solo is not as good as the electroplanktons, but it is a good game.

• Electroplankton Rec - Rec
• Electroplankton Nanocarp
• Electroplankton Lumiloop
• Electroplankton Marine - Crystals
• Electroplankton Beatness
• Electroplankton Varvoice

It's a little hard to recommend an Art Style game considering we don't know what kinds of puzzlers you're into. Each of the art style games are wildly different.

I recommend Kubos and Trajectile though - and Wakugumi if it's in your territory. Those are my three favourite DSiWare puzzlers

If you like WiFi, shooting games, fast paced games, and competition, get Bomberman Blitz o.o So fun xD
Here's my recommendation on how to spend 2,000 points:

Bomberman Blitz for great online and single player battles-500 pts
Trajectile for when you're at some place and you are bored of BB- 500pts
Pop Island seems to be good for multiplayer single card play- 500pts
You then have 500 points to spend on something else you may want. Boxlife, Paper Airplane Chase, Electroplankton games, etc

I only have BB from this list, and Paper Airplane chase. Each game gives what the other game on the list does not have.

ummm, I wouldn't consider Bomberman Blitz a shooting game

It's a game in that category though sorta-ish. It has similar attributes- killing, fast paced action, ranged atacks, people running around. Sort of where shooting meets strategy xD

I do think that you should buy Bomberman Blitz. It's really fun, and the wifi works well _{be warned- there are a lot of players with japenese characters in there names that are really good, but quit if you win}

Out of all the Dsiware games I have, (which is like 20 of them) I would have to say the best one is Bomberman Blitz.

Out of all the Dsiware games I have, (which is like 14 of them, plus Flipnote and browser) I would have to say the best one is it depends on what type of game you like; most of them are good at what they do.

Out of the 10 DSiWare games that I own, Thorium Wars is the best. With MvDK and Army Defender being runner-ups.

Out of the 30 or so DSiWare games that I own, I'd say the best are Bejeweled Twist, Trajectile and Pop Island.

Well my DSi should be arriving on Monday and I've been trying to think of some DSiWare to get in addition to the preloaded ones (I got the Mario bundle DSi). I've finally narrowed it down to a 1800 point purchase.

Art Style: BOXLIFE (It was hard to just pick one Art Style, they all look so good!)
Art Academy: First Semester

I figure that plus the Mario games will keep me entertained for awhile. :]

I might as well round it out to 2000 points and get a card. BTW does it have to be a Nintendo Points card or will a Wii Points card work too? It's hard to track down the ones labeled as Nintendo Points. I could always whip out my debit card but I figure this makes life easier. Sometimes Nintendo doesn't like my debit card, they seem to prefer credit cards... :/

Anyhow, what should the remaining 200 points be used on?

@bluecat A wii points card is just an old version of a nintendo points card, so it will still work.
I think that you should either spend the last 200 on myNotebook, or an electroplankton [sun-animalcule, beatness, luminarrow, or hanenbow].

Army Defender is amazing for a 200 point game. Robot Rescue comes in as a close second, with Electroplankton Beatnes, Pro Putt Domo and Luminarrow filling out the rest for my top 5 200 point DsiWare games.

for 200 points I would recommend Paper Airplane Chase (or Paper Plane in Europe) it's a fun little game and good for short play times although you could end up playing it for an hour! Although a lot of people seem to like Army Defender. Sorry to say I've never played it.

Pyoro (aka Bird & Beans) and Paper Airplane Chase were good when they came out, but with meatier experiences like Robot Rescue and Army Defender out there now they're kind of obsolete. Try myNotebook, an electroplankton or one of the other two titles I mentioned above for great 200 point games.

While myNotebook looks neat and all, I'm not sure how often I'd use it. And after watching some videos of it in action, it kinda feels like something that should have just come with the DSi. :/

Electroplankton looks interesting, but there are so many to choose from. @_@

gameloft did a wonderful job with the AI. also playing agienst them in hard mode was super rewarding. i also like unlocking backgrounds and decks over time personily i love it for the turnomant mode. and AI does not cheet they mostly will keep on skiping you or give you draw 10's. and after a while i finally beat uno on hard in turnomant _{and yes i do have a life.....}
