Birdman

Hmm, I think I'm gonna get Pinball Pulse and wait to decide between CoM, Aquia and Glow. Thanks for your help.

Exactly.

Are there people here that have Rayman and Castle Of Magic? I want one of those two platformers, but what is the best game?
I loved rayman 1 on the gameboy so i wanted that, but what do you people think?

@KillTheHaterzzz: I have both CoM and Rayman. CoM is good if you want something quick and easy. You can absolutely complete the whole game in 4 hours. Rayman will take you longer because the difficulty is a lot higher. However, for 300 more points you get a higher quality, much more polished game that will take you significantly longer to play, especially if you want to "complete" it with all Anti-Dark Matters. The only annoying thing about Rayman is the forced snapshot when you reach a level checkpoint. Hope this helps!

@rosebud- Thnx, I've been thinking of getting one of those two too.

What exactly is Pop Island? Is it like capture the flag or something?

I'm just wondering, does everyone like the single-player of Pop Island at all?

Yeah, I was wondering the same thing about Pop Island. I don't really play multi-player on DS, so I am looking for a good single player experience. Would anyone recommend this game? How long will it last for single player?

pop island is just capture the flag with 300% more colors and cute animals, it is actually quite fun, and the music is very good. Only some odd points keep it from becoming a member of my (nonexistent) top 3, like, each planet has preset animals you MUST use, or the fact that you cant put your name for the highscores, each animal has a preset name, and the like, but it is quite good. if youre more of a loner i guess the single player may get old quickly, though (you must play it to unlock planets and animals for the single player, for multiplayer, you get everything from the go).

Thanks Rosebud, When I get a points card tomorrow I will get Rayman and Art Academy

Alright, I just got a points card and here's my game plan:
Art Style: PiCTOBiTS (Heard it was fun. Like the music)
Pop Island (Interesting idea for a game I think)
Glow Artisan (I hardly know anything about it at the moment )
Electroplankton: Beatness (I like these things, so don't critique! ...Unless you think I should get a different one...I have Luminarrow...)
That 200 point Defense game whose name escapes me at the moment... Army Defender

Whaddaya guys think? Should I re-think anything?
I have: MvDK, Pop+, WarioWare , Aquia, Luminarrow, and Precipice

I'm working on a game that's coming out soon!

If ya ask me, I suggest throwing in Dragons Lair in there Of course, then you wont have much points left.

wont be on here anymore

Birdman

Looks good, but if I were you I'd probably get Bejeweled Twist instead of PiCTOBiTS. At least, that's just me.

Y'see, I actually had a list of all of the games I want for DSiWare:
Pop Island
Bejeweled Twist
Dragon's Lair
Beatness
Hannenbow
Glow Artsian
PiCTOBiTS

Problem is, yeah, Dragon's Lair would really drain my points, and I'm not 100% positive that my patience can withstand the gameplay (which is a VERY dangerous thing). In fact, NOT getting it can knock off more games that I want off that list. Also, I figured I could get Bejeweled on my iPod for two bucks cheaper and be able to buy a different game I want for my DSi...Are there any problems with my way of thinking? If so, speak up and slap me in the face!

On a side note, which should I get first?...

Pop Island, hands down. Its VERY fun, VERY colorful, and VERY addicting. Only bad side is, no Wi-Fi. (Which sucks, cuz that game would suit Wi-Fi PERFECTLY.)

wont be on here anymore

Percentful

I myself am the #1 Electroplankton fan, so I suggest getting the other 9 electroplanktons. For a non-electroplankton-fan I would suggest Pop Island. It has a very fun singleplayer, and having 2 people to play with makes it insanely fun.
If you want the best Electroplanktons, stick to Hanenbow, Beatness, and Luminarrow. Those three are the best out of all ten, with Sun-animalcule coming in at fourth.

Just let it happen.

For 200 points, your best choice is probably Paper Plane or Pyoro.
For 500 points, Pop+ Solo is the only 500 points game I've played and it's incredibly addicting.
I can't believe nobody has mentioned MFC! Goddamnit that's probably the best DSiware game of the year (Not counting Flipnote Studio or that Web Browser)
Anyone know which Art Style is best? I think Pictobits and Boxlife look good.

This is a signature.
Link goes here now.
Screw you.

Birdman

Robot Rescue is also one of the best 200 point games on DSiWare, though a non-book control style would've helped it a lot. Also, the "robots" look more like lobsters to me.

Could you explain the control layout? I'm considering getting it.

eh, you go around with the +pad, left and right move the camera, up and down move the tank, use R to shoot, and something like that, i havent played in a good time, i got tired of the enless shoothing sound and the endless minienemies that usually surround you.
