@Mirrorball - Actually, it may not be there at all. Pinball Pulse is one of about 20 DSiWare titles not able to be transferred to the 3DS, so consequently it may not be available for purchase.
that sucks :/ the 2 that are available seem a little too simple, for the price.i can't believe one of only around 20 games is one that i really wanted. oh well...thanks for letting me know!

So I'm looking for games with online support (prefer online play, but things like leaderboards as well). Tetris Party Live was mentioned, are there any others.
BTW, can I play Shantae without having played the GBC original?

I did, without a problem. I personally didn't think Shantae deserved quite all the hype it got. It's a beautifully presented game with a lot of polish, by far the best looking game on DSiWare but I felt the design was lacking a little. It seemed very short to me although it may have helped if I had then gone round collecting every missing item (something I normally like to do with games) but all the missing items were for upgrades to the weapons that I didn't really use when playing the game in the first place so I just didn't feel the need to grind round every screen to see what I'd missed.
Author of Digger Dan DSiWare.
Coming very soon to Nintendo 3DS via the eShop.

Agreed with ImDiggerDan on Shantae RR. It was immensely hyped before release and the lack of content was disappointing. The story, gameplay and sprite work were great but it ended way too fast. Still I'd recommend it if you love 16-bit type platformers.
@Sneaker13 Tetris Party Live is probably the most active online game. Other WFC games include Number Battles, Uno, Bomberman Blitz, Dragon Quest Wars, Mario Vs Donkey Kong (level sharing) and Metal Torrent (leaderboards).
There's a list of multiplayer DSiWare games and their capabilites here, though it's not been updated for ages.
Let's play some Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate! Let me know who you are before you add me.

I just picked up Soul of Darkness. It's a really great game. Reminds me very much of the DS Castlevanias. Excellent choice for CV fans!

okay so a while ago i heared of some picross-like game for dsiware.it is called illust magic and nintendolife even got a first-impressions article about it found here: http://dsiware.nintendolife.com/news/2010/05/first_impression...
so has the game ever been released? i cant find any other information about this game. i wanted to buy picross these days but it would be cooler to have it on my 3DS all the time instead of having to have the cartridge with me.
where is this game??? i live in europe by the way so pls tell me it is has been released here

Next I'm thinking of getting one of the Mighty games. Either Flip Champs or Milky way. Not sure I want both though.Mighty Milky way looks like more fun. Anyone have an opinion on these two? Do you prefer one over the other?

I spend my first 19 Euro's on DSiWare games. I bought Shantae and Dr. Mario. I had 300 points left and was in doubt about Army Defender, GO Series: Dark Spirits and Aura-Aura Climber. Since it was unclear if I could save in Dark Spirits and Army Defender appealed more to me. I choose that one.
Next up will probably be Soul of Darkness and Looksley's Line Up. Unless something new and interesting will come up.

@6ch6ris6 - Illust Magic is not available on DSiWare outside of Japan. Howeever, Animal Puzzle Adventure, which is like Picross with added colors, is available and should be good to sink your teeth into. I don't know for sure, as I haven't played it.

I haven't played it, so I really couldn't tell you. I mentioned it because it seemed a lot like Picross.

was able to grab a 2000 pt card for 10 bucks (site gave me a 50% off coupon.
thinkin Beach party craze 800 pts seems high but half price be 4 bucks.. not a bad game for 4 bucks...
if its a pure PC game port each level is around 3 to 10 mins per level (take 5 mins as avg)
5 mins x 50 rounds 250 mins = little over 4 hours ..... thinkin about it that seems very short for 8 bucks .. though i did hear level 30+ takes around 10 mins per stage that would be 200 mins + 150 mins would be 350 mins or little less then 6 hours
might wait till the weekend to see if ninendo updates next weeks games now to figure what to spend the other 1200 on..
hopefully nintendo updates their site by thursday and shows what else is coming in june
