For all those having trouble choosing between DSiWare games, this is the thread for you! Ask for recommendations here.
if you're trying to choose between a DSiWare game and something else, though, the Universal Recommendations Thread may be what you're looking for. :3

I'd say get Dragon Quest Wars, it has a few minor quirks but in the end it really doesn't matter. It's simple fun and it's got online too. Check out Art Style games (Especially Pictobits, and the latest one seems good also but I haven't played it)

If you like learning art (or learning in general) totally get Art Academy: First Semester. It's really great for making beautiful pieces of art... if you've never played Sudoku I so recommend Sudoku Student. It's really fun! Mario VS Donkey Kong: Minis March Again! is also an amazing puzzle game, and Pro Putt Domo is fun for the golfer (and Domo-lover) in you. Out of the Electroplankton series, Hanenbow is the only one I still have. I've deleted the rest... they're not fun at all.

The Electroplankton series is great for music lovers. Bomberman Blitz is a great Wifi game.

Ok I'll post the same thing I posted in the Universal thread (I will probably get more feedback about DSiWare here so please don't call me a double-poster)
For my future DSi for DSiWare I've already decided to get Mario vs. Donkey Kong: Minis March again, Paper Airplane Chase, and Art Style: Boxlife, but don't know what to do with the rest 500 points. Don't care if it's casual or hardcore as long as it's not sudoku (Have Brain Age Cartridge) and must be 500 points.
EDIT: I just remembered I'm going to get Trajectile, but I might get two points cards for Christmas (I did last year) and I'll probably use it on DSiWare so recommend any point games please

I have 1700 points. Please recommend some games.

Army Defender is probably the best 200 point game on DSiWare currently. Other games I reccomend are Pop Island and Bejeweled Twist, both of which are 500 points.

The best way to spend 2000 DSi Points: Thorium Wars (1000)- Really awesome shooter with great replayability, if you don't mind its high difficulty. Mario vs. DK (800)- Great puzzle/action game that really makes you think and have good reflexes. Great Pick-up-n-Play-ability. Army Defender (200)- Awesome and addicting arcade-like shooting game. Another great Pick-up-n-Play game.
These are the best of the DSiWare releases so far imo. As for 500 point games, there aren't any "Have-to-Have" ones as of now. Can't wait for Flipper, Dark Void Zero, and Mecho Wars.

Look through the reviews on this site. They are a good representation of whats good and whats not good on dsiware

I think that pop island is a have-to-have. It's really fun, and it could have easily been an 800 point game. MvDk 3 is pretty fun, and making levels is very entertaining. Pop+Solo is fun, but it's more of a game you play when waiting for a doctor's appointment or something-it gets boring pretty fast. Hot & Cold is fun, but the items you find for each location are pretty repetitive.

I have 1500 points left and I'm deciding between 4 500 point games (none of the current 800 or 200 point games interest me that I don't have already). It's between these 4 :Art Style: AquiaCastle of MagicGlow ArtisanPinball Pulse
Please note my shoulder buttons tend to stick and I'll probably get another card for Trajectile, Flipper and others.
