Topic: DSiWare is Seriously Lacking @ Moment

1 puzzle game today says enough and we basically got the same thing what 2 weeks ago. You would think we would be getting 3-5 games a week with it being a newer service. Hmmmm. Im worried this DSiWare thing isn't near what I thought it to be.

Well at least it's being supported better than the VCA and C64. I mean, Nintendo reveals these two new additions to the downloadable market and doesn't even take steps to support it adequately, instead they've taken the minimal approach.

Seriously, this is what is keeping me from buying a DSi. It is pretty darn sad.

tbh, if nobody is making the games for download, how can nintendo be blamed for one game weeks. they`ve gotta spread out what`s available to keep the service running.

yeah Im not too happy but the hope that its gona get better cause WiiWare does have some good titles on it. DSi is my only current connection with Nintendo. I was goin to buy another Wii (sold first one) but Im starting to think that once the DSi is out there may be a possibility that Im not goin to support Nintendo anymore if this keeps up. They tell their fans little to nothing and keep them around with stupid clocks and calculotors and tidbits of games already released and puzzles. Not me, Im lookin forward to see what Wayforward comes out with but as for Nintendo. Im just very very dissapointed.

DSiWare blows. There's a couple good games, but really, it's pathetic.

WiiWare has more third party support. That's the problem, there's just more people with Wiis then with DSis.

Japan has WAY more DSi users, and even it's DSiWare is pretty sad with only a handful of games that are decent. My hope is slim.

Yeah I agree. A year later, look at it now.

Only thing that looks good to me is Minis March Again.

Well, I might be the odd man out in this thread but I am really enjoying dsishop... I guess since I'm much more of a "puzzler" kind of gamer, I am liking the releases that are coming out (yes, even Brain Challenge and Base 10.) I do have to agree it seems kind of top heavy on the puzzles, we should get more stuff like "Mighty Flip Champs" and "Asphalt 4" to satisfy everyone (and I do love those, too.)

I pictured WiiWare to be remakes of old games, but...they don't....(At least not that much)

I'm perfectly happy with my DS Lite for now. The only game that I really want on DSi is Mighty Flip Champs. Hopefully, DSiWare will improve in the very near future.

I have to agree with ballistikboy. So far I'm pretty content with the DSiWare Shop and have been enjoying some games. I haven't downloaded all of them, but Puzzle League, Boxlife, Pictobits, Pyoro and Dr. Mario are still keeping me busy. If Flipnote Studio gets released soon, I'm gonna be quite happy for a long time

All I really want are Pop and Flipnote. Other than that, the DSi Shop is great with MFC, Mario Vs. Donkey Kong, Art Style, and Asphalt 4.

My biggest reason for complaining is that the upgrade to DSi is for DSiWare and yeah its got a couple of great games and I own to me the best ones

Its just the upgrade wasn't cheap and the DSiWare games a really short to file constraints and yes Im sure it will become large like WiiWare but its dissapointing that they released it with so few games available. Really I will prob buy more DSiWare games than cartridges if they ever do get it up and running right.

I upgraded for the screens, camera and DSiWare, and I hoped one day there would be a Gameboy VC.
Now I'm just waiting for better DSiWare games.
Does'nt look like we will ever get a GB VC.
