Lieutenant Commander of the Lesbian Love Brigade
There can only be one, like in that foreign movie where there could only be one, and in the end there is only one dude left, because that was the point.
You guys must didn't get a chance to play Shantae and Cave Story. Or Dark Void and Starship Defense. Huh? Not even Bomberman Blitz or one of those Art Style games...
@ leamonhead: i agree with you all the way. Other than Glory Days I've yet to download any other new release this year. I've been having to pull out my DSiware catch-up list and get started with that.

Same here. Glory Days was the only release released this year that I've bought so far and actually liked. I just bought Zenonia, but that was released last year and is pretty meh.
I got Rayman on DSiware because I grew up playing it, and I loved everything but the camera feature. I could never play the game I loved so much in public because every checkpoint took a picture of me and made that loud shutter noise.
Lately it might be complete crap but I will actually stand by DSiWare as a whole and say it is a great service that I am happy to have had the privlage to buy from. There are a huge amount of great titles on DSiWare so I don't really understand when people blast it. It might have ALOT of garbage clogging it up but if you look past the garbage there is a massive amount of good things to buy. Plus, I'm fairly certain Nintendo wasn't even taking DSiWare seriously. I believe the only reason DSiWare was even created was to give the eShop a quick large library from the day it is launched.
It seems there hasn't been as much to get excited about, but it doesn't surprise me people would turn attention to developing for the 3DS, and I wouldn't single out DSiWare. WiiWare seems to have had fewer releases than usual in recent weeks, although it's not so noticeable because we've been getting demos.
If Cave Story was the only game on it, then it would still be the best DLC service that focuses on games (and clocks) available I added the '(and clocks)' part so I win

Yeah what's up with all the useless clocks? I mean, the DSi itself already has one. What's the point?
If you add me, I need to at least know you or I won't add you back.
DSiware has always been a mixed bag. The stuff we're seeing now is nothing new (though WiiWare's status is kinda iffy imo). Many feel that the ONLY good game on the service is Shantae anyway. Also there have still been plenty of well-received games from NLife like Surfacer+, and Digger Dan to name two.
Nintendo Power has plenty of reports that online sites don't care to mention with quality looking dsiware fare like Jelly Kingdoms and Ikachan. The latter being from the creator of Cave Story no less, also a great dsiware title. I'm also looking forward to Flipper 2 and Angry Birds. I also want Airport Mania: First Flight if it ever comes to the service.

i don't see why the clocks get so much hate. yeah, they're not really games, the system comes with a built-in clock, yadda yadda, but i've been using the Mario Clock almost every single night for over a year now. i can have multiple alarms set if i want, change what music i wake up to, and if i want to mess around for a few minutes there's the little running-mario minigame on the top screen. there's nothing wrong with wanting something with a little more functionality than what came pre-installed, and i'd say i've gotten my 200 points' worth out of it for srs.
BEST THREAD EVER future of NL >:3
[16:43] James: I should learn these site rules more clearly
[16:44] LztheBlehBird: James doesn't know the rules? For shame!!!
@tbd: It's true, I use my Photo Clock (which I have no idea why I got it over mario D:) all the time for an alarm, and to see what the time is when I get confused with the 24hour clock the DSi Menu has
