Also, as a lefty, I'm VERY grateful for the existance of this sheet. That is...once more lefty-friendly spaces get filled. Even now, I wouldn't have known that Art Style: Code doesn't have a lefty mode were it not for this list. Thanks!
Yeah, My friend is fond of numbers, so I wanted him to try CODE, but there was no Lefty Option, so he couldn't. Both he and I were very dissapointed.
good job on the list, it was very needed! i hope you dont mind me adding a "Download mode" column, i think it's needed edit: o wait, i think the local wifi column already does that lol >abgar deletes the column

Muhahahahaha.
theres a pie asking to be eaten. >abgar akes out a fork and a knife
i think it might be better if, instead of just having a 'lefty-friendly' column, it had a 'dedicated left-handed setting' column (or something like that) too... there's a couple games (Glow Artisan, for instance) that feature ABXY/D-Pad shortcuts that could be considered lefty-friendly, but then there's no actual left-handed setting that flips the graphics on the screen making it easier for left-handed individuals to see things.

Ok ill add the left handed setting column, but it will be hard to fill unless you have the game.(same with colourblind friendly, and L and R button friendly)

To be fair, most games don't NEED an actual lefty setting, as long as they have the mirrored d-pad and face button fuctions. Some even work just fine for lefties WITHOUT mirrored functions, simply because the functions are minimal. Other games with larger HUD's do well to have lefty modes of course, as LoZ: PH and ST prove, among others, but it's not always necessary. I don't see why we need a separate COLUMN for that...just have "lefty mode" as a possible entry for the "lefty friendly" column.
My Backloggery Updated sporadically. Got my important online ID's on there, anyway. :P
@stuffo: for those of us who are right-handed and don't really know the difference, though, it's nice to definitely be able to say 'okay, this one allows you to choose which hand you use' (as in it's designed for left-handed use) or 'this one has button shortcuts lefties can use, but they won't flip the graphics for you'/'this one has traditional controls and minimal stylus use' (as in 'a lefty can probably get by okay'). if the OP is going all-out with the database in order to help people decide at a glance, they may as well really go all-out.

I'm thinking left-handed should be rated on a scale; as someone who's right-handed, I can only propose: A*: Has screen flip option (or flawless use of buttons etc.) A: Perfectly symmetrical (doesn't need left hand features at all.) B*: Good use of features. B: Pretty symmetrical. C: Irritating. D: Barely playable F: Not recommended.
i think it's better if left-handed individuals can just glance at the list and know for a fact that there's a left-handed option available in the game. if there's a rating system alongside that for games that do not offer such an option, whatev', but in that case i don't think something so subjective would be something a right-handed person would be able to fill out, y'know?

@jdarrell: Base 10 isn't just "annoying" to play, it's IMPOSSIBLE for a lefty. There's simply no way to do it if you're holding the system on its side and the touch screen HAS to be on the right side (I wanna know what a-hole designed that game that way...Nintendo is usually so good about supporting lefties!).
Anyway, my point was that all the info necessary should be able to fit into a single column.
Lefty friendly? Menu Option Mirrored Buttons N/A (perfectly symmetrical, probably either stylus-only or button-only control) Mild Inconvienience (for games such as Mighty Flip Champs that don't have mirrored buttons, but have limited enough use of either the buttons for the stylus to work) Unplayable (Base 10-like design BS)
I understand that it may be difficult for righties to understand our plight and list games accordingly. For this reason, we need to make sure we have lefties updating the list from experience. Sadly, this might require some lefties buying "Unplayable" games.
Thanks for your feedback theblackdragon, stuffgamer, and everyone. Have temporarily updated the first post with the following:
Lefty/Colourblind Option?: N/A: No option necessary. Yes: Has a menu option (or built in feature). Maybe: A mild inconvenience. (For games such as Mighty Flip Champs that don't have mirrored buttons, but have limited enough use of either the buttons for the stylus to work.) No: Unplayable design. (For games such as Base 10.)
Releases from the last two weeks in North America and Europe are now in bold, if you can fill in their info please help. (The original version was sorted by order of North American release date, but this worked out easier to read.)
Changed Dragon Quest Wars and Number Battles WiFi to inactive.
Changed left handed option in Glow Artisan to yes, because you have the option of using perfectly implemented mirrored buttons (if left-handers use a different layout, then imo it's an option.) Removed some of the other NOs, because guessing they should've been N/As (see above post or first post update).
Made other changes (if there are any complaints I can fix it with one of the backups).
