The DSi Clocks and Calculators are mundane at best, so what other Apps would be better maybe a map or how about using the DSi as a classic controler!I want to hear what you guys think!

I would love to see a PDA-type app, where I could store appointments and contacts and such. Call me a major dork (or just an old woman) but I would buy the heck out of a food & exercise log too! Tomb Raider should sponsor it - don't you want to be fit and sexy like Lara Croft?

I'd like to see something useful like a calander where you can store appointments and such or many a rolodex. Something you can at least get some good use out of. Not another clock app.
Plain old gamer :)

NO mii's stay on the wii! they called them mii's for a reason becuse if you take the w out of wii and replace it with a m you get mii.
other than that i realy want a youtube app/ skype app/twitter app/ email app just like the wii message board.
This is ground control to major Tom, you've really made the grade. And the papers want to know whose shirts you wear
Now it's time to leave the capsule if you dare

I'd like to see an itunes app (or something similar). Now that the dsi has AAC playback we should utilise it as much as possible

I would like to see a variety of Free and Paid Apps Content on DSi. I know Nintendo are in it for the cash but im sure some apps could be sponsered so to speak by advertising revenue so to speak. Mabey like a new film coming out may release a clock that is a blatent advert for the film but would also offer as a free clock for those who choose to download it and it would be paid for by the company producing the film... but clocks, calculators wallpapers aside.I would like to see some sort of Instant Messenger exclusive for DSi to DSi over wifi, also it would be nice to have some wii to DSi functionality such as a way of linking your DSi to your wii and accessing the message board, mabey something to do with your mii's even if it is only the abilty to transfer one mii to your DSi rather than a whole parade. This would actually be something nice to try before they release the Friends Connect game thay have been talking about (basically a sims game on the DS using mii's from the mii channel). Other wii channels that could be released in a "lite" format could also be weather and news, although you could just use the DSi Browser it still would be a nice function. And obviously a "NIntendo Channel" released for the DSi would be great but I would imaging it would eat a lot of space, mabey if they improve the storage at some point.
Other apps I would like to see would be a digital shopping list where you can add details and tick off as you need them, tally up your amounts prior to shopping and even remind you to buy basics every so often. but that obviously wouldnt appeal to everyone lolA video player that would play files from your SD card would be useful, my kids really liked to watch cartoons on their GBA's but the video cartridges were expensive for how much you got on them. The best thing about it being just a video player would be you could put whatever you wanted on it rather than a small selection of retail cartridges that dont appeal to everyone....I think that would do me for now, but I really do think they should begin to release a lot of software that somehow links with the wii.

no problemo!..if the wii has miithen the DSi mii creator will be called iDSsimple..and its intro will be the intro when you turn on the system but mario jumps out of nowhere and changes the position of the "DS" and the "i"

That actually sound like a good idea.
I'd like an app that shows menus of nearby restaurants (Wifi is needed.)

Heeeyyyy, I like this idea! They were able to integrate a shopping list into Personal Trainer Cooking, so seems like it would be easy enough to make it a standalone app. Sign me up!

that would be so nerdy-awesome, especially if you could save prices depending on which store you went to (Wal-Mart vs. Food Lion, for example) and then use that to pre-calculate your next projected shopping trip and such. i'd pay a couple hundred nintendo points for that, lol.

I'd support that too. (Food Lion? I always find it interesting hearing of the chains that are larger/exist in other areas)
