here's the way i see it: if u like Nintendo games, get a DSi/Lite; if u like Sony games, get a PSP

Brandon, I was just cracking a joke because it was funny how she worded it, not judging anyone. But you're wrong, it's very much not the target audience; otherwise, they wouldn't be constantly updating the firmware to prevent it.
Plus, I know just as many people who use the DS for the same reason. Neither company is (completely) stupid; they want people to buy their new games, not just their hardware. Hardware is not generally as profitable as software, and who would settle for one sale when they could hook a user with many more sales through new games?

The selection of games on DS is superior. However, there are a few gems on PSP (Dissidia, Crisis Core, .hack//LINK, maybe the GTA's). The PSP Go sounds like a joke though.

DSi atm is better.PSP Go! However will be better than the DSi.
Woot I won hahaha

It may not be the target audience, but certainly a good number of PSP owners only got it because of it being so hackable.
I like my DS very much, but I can't say for sure whether it's better than the PSP since I don't have much experience with the former. PSP Go! would be enticing, but not at that price point.

I love DSi and PSP. I'm not sold on the Go! yet, but I'll at least give it a try when it comes out.

A PSP is better than a DSi but a DS lite/phat is better than a PSP (1000thru to3000)meanwhile the new PSP go is just as rubish as a DSi

PSP doesn't have a very good library to be honest. Ive owned two now, the best thing about the system is that it is a portable PsOne. The only game I own that I absolutely cant ever get rid of is Final Fantasy Tactics War of the Lions and even it is a remake of a PsOne game. Its a good system but most games have way to many control issues or camera issues. Im a Sony fanatic but if your looking for a great portable with lots a great games go with the DSi.

Slapshot82I was thinking the same thing, I had a psp and I sold it for a ds lite because of the library of games. It felt like I was playing a ps one/ps2. I wanted to see new tittles but all we got was tiny versions of ps2/ps3 games (little big planet psp WTF)

I'm in the same boat, Jadman. I am waiting for either more information on the Go or a DSi VC before I decide.

Here's an idea: save your money and time now, and wait till Nintendo and Sony come out with the next big handhelds. The DSi and PSP Go are the evolutions, not the revolutions.

the psp go with the new games (gran turismo, jak and daxter, little big planet, assasins creed) Is much better, but until then, the game selection is limeted to god of war, resistance retribution, and monster hunter(the best).

For me, these are the only games I would buy a PSP for:DaxterMe and My KatamariFinal Fantasy VII Crisis CoreGod of War
It's just not worth it in my books. There needs to be more variety, and the DSi has that by the bucketload.

The Playstation Pocket (PP) and the Nintendo QS Why? (Quadruple Screen) are the big next steps in portable gaming. Seriously, save your money for those technological marvels.
