I'm looking at buying the original Gameboy Advance off of eBay, but I heard that the original GBA hurts your eyes because the screen is so dim, and you need AA batteries to make it run. I want to play original GB ,GBC and GBA games! (I sold my old DS Lite for a new DSi and so I can't play GBA games anymore) I want to buy some GB and GBC games and play them on the GBA.
Should I buy the GBA or should I wait for the Virtual Handheld?
Any advice? (I don't want to buy a GBA SP because it is quite a bit more money.) I have 20+ GBA games that I can't play anymore.
P.S. I do have the Gameboy Player for the Gamecube, but I kind of want to play Gameboy games on the go.
Sorry if I was too vague, if you need help understanding my situation, POST!

If yo get one, get an SP because they have a lit screen and are more compact.

Instead of getting a new GBA or a new GBA SP (because you said they were too expensive) I would say take the middle route; get a used SP. They can be found very cheap in at least decent condition.

Oh, I was going to get a used one in the first place. (I found a used GBA for $15)

Wow. I really don't know. I have a GBA with a PowerPak, but my old charger broke. Thankfully, my Nokia Phone Charger worked fine with it.
Sorry, I gotz out of hand there. Anyway, if you are getting a GBA, Always turn on a light! It helps. I still have mine, but I don't use it. (But that dosen't mean you can buy it, no offense.) If you're games are worthy enough for you to buy a GBA, I say gopher it. Lolz, retarded joke.
That's my advice. You don't have to follow it.
By the way, wat games do u hav? I'm interested. I got mine in about 03', And my first game 4 it was MK: Super Circuit. Took me 4evr to beatz!

Oh, that's good then. But PLEASE make sure you get the SP because you will torture your eyes trying to play the GBA in a place with poor lighting. I had bad experiences with the GBA (and anything before SP for that matter) but the games were so I good I had to sit through the dark and seemingly colorless visuals. If price is a problem just save a few more dollars because it sure isn't worth the trouble. D;

What games do you have?
Wow, it might take a while to list them all, I counted them just now and I have 21 or 22. Oh I know, you could check my Backloggery. (It's in my sig)
P.S. Sorry for the whole, fixing your grammar in the quote, I couldn't help it. (no offense)
