Hello and thank you for contacting Nintendo,
At this time, we are not planning a Virtual Console-style service for the Nintendo DSi. If you’re a fan of Game Boy games, we suggest using a Game Boy Advance SP as we still support and are able to repair them if necessary.
LOL they still support it. And where have you seen GBA carts new. Well Best Buy still has some for like 10 bucks that they still cant get rid off. Shovelware. WTF Nintendo.

I make a point to work in my desire for a DSi VC for every DSiWare and VC survey I do on club nintendo. I like to think they actually read them (since they give me stuff for the coins). Who knows. I wouldn't bother asking customer service reps though. They're not going to tell them anyway if they were.

"support" doesn't mean "produce games for" in this context. It means "conduct repairs and offer technical support."
... and it was really obvious that's what it meant. But don't let literacy skills get in the way of a good and pointless rant.
Haha, I got that exact same response when I emailed them.
They must have been expecting these letters then; like the people at the post office with the "Dear Santa" letters. Exactly the same, they just change one single word. I hate them so much...
