Ok after finally getting some new points for DSiware I attempted to connect to the DSi shop. Upon connecting it told me a system update was available. I was unable to connect to the shop without downloading the update so I started downloading it. However I have reached my limit for internet usage and as a result my connection speed has slowed down meaning it will take at least an hour to download. I will let you know if the update does anything useful but in the meantime does anyone know what it's about?
Finished downloading.Basically all it is the ability to upload photos. Once uploaded it goes straight to a folder on your profile called "Photos from Nintendo DSi"
W00t! (And wee!) there is also an update for the internet browser, I'm wondering what it adds?
EDIT: WTF?!?!? It sais: Open blocks: 354 Blocks to download: 0 Blocks after download: 356 WTF??!?!? Is this simply an update to make it smaller in size?
Nobody from America has reported it as being there yet, so I don't think it is, but I think its pretty safe to assume it will be up within the next 24 hours for you guys.

Changes Internet browser after updating it: -version gone from 9.50 (483) to 9.50 (507) it seems it haves problems with the Nintnedo Wi-Fi USB connector. -. Solved: Just update your USB connector to the latest version! -still no You Tube support. I think this one is only to save 3 blocks, to make it more compact... Go Nintendo, one little step for Nintendo, an huge step for the SD- card support, I can't wait!
