Topic: Did you ever beat Time Bomb Mode in Mighty Milky Way?:Updated with Alternate Post-Time Bomb Title Screen

Mighty Milky way is sort of the oddball middle game in between Wayforward's more popular Shantae Risky's Revenge and Mighty Switch Force, but I'd argue Milky Way is infinitely more worth your money. The main issue people have with it though is that is gets really brutal towards the end of the game, and the incredibly masochistic Time Bomb mode is something people don't even consider playing once they finally beat the main game.

My question to NintendoLife is "Have any of you actually beaten Time Bomb Mode in Mighty Milky Way?"
If not, my other question is "How far did you get before giving up?"

I'm making a serious effort to beat it, but it has been really hard, crossing the line several times into complete BS. I'm currently at stage 3-9, meaning I have twelve stages left before it's over. (thirteen if you include the mini-level after the final boss)

Stage 1-7, and stage 3-8 were two of the biggest loads of nonsense I've ever played in a game, and they are simply unfair. A lot of Time Bomb mode is just luck if you manage to get the exact right angle you need to shoot at, meaning it's the kind of thing that's not even possible to write a walkthrough for. There are no guides or videos whatsoever, which means I've had to figure absolutely everything out by myself. It's a masochistic game mode, and one I'll be super proud to have finished once I do, but until then I can only dread the upcoming stages.

No matter what the game is, try your best to find enjoyment in it for whatever reason. Sometimes a bad game just needs a bit of a shot to the arm with the imagination of a goofball :).

Well, I finally did it. Time Bomb mode has been completed. Once you get past 3-8, it gets way easier. I could basically play the last world the same way I did in regular mode and still meet the time limits. As frustrating as it got at times, it was still a fun experience. I can also add it to the list of really hard games I've 100% completed, which makes me happy. As a treat, I'll share the alternate title screen with you that you get after clearing Time Bomb mode. Wayforward really are a bunch of old men when it comes to their female characters. : P
