I got it Sunday and turned on the fans in Bushlands after defeating Balrog. I got to the door that says 'GUM' on it.

What do all of you guys' Time Attack times look like? I've managed to shave mine down to 4:27, but I still have a long ways to go to get the last two songs and icon changes.

E: Just today got it down to 3:34, thus unlocking the last song and

King as my title screen icon. I wonder who it is for under three minutes?

Trying to get the Spur is a pain! You don't really realize how convenient the Machine Gun is until you don't have it.

Ive just gotten to Hell on hard mode, with only 8 HP. I cant even get past the second room. This is going to be...fun?

Me? Yeah, but I dont use it much for boss fights....Or enemies.... But its still fun to use.

I meant for Kid A, to replace the machine gun.

I was at the core boss on hard mode, but getting blasted to death by the giant white balls made me give up and go back to normal mode... good luck with hell!

I think KidA was referring to the fact the machine gun propels you up.

If you can get past the core, you can beat hard mode. Its the hardest boss in their, assuming you kept the Polar Star.
I cant beat Hell with 8HP, so I beat Time Attack with the Spur, Nemesis, and Super Missles with a time of 4:34.
Took hours.

How do you unlock the two last Songs?

I beat Time Attack, whats Next?

Beat time attack under 5 minutes to get Toroko's theme, beat Time Attack under 4 minutes to get King's song.
For the minutes, you can get the menu icon to change from Quote to Curly, King, Etc.

it took me 11 mins to beat it....

What I did was level up missles the most (If you chose the Spur), and let loose all of your missles on Ballos's final form. You do NOT stop for hearts or Exp, and only use the life pot near the Heavy Press boss, or after it.

LOL, I got a little stuck on that part too. But man, you should have seen me when I was looking for Jenka's dogs. I could not find the last one to save my life! And then it turned out that the last dog was in the Sand Zone Residence the whole freaking time! Grrr... stupid dog! e3e LOL anyway... first you have to obtain the Jellyfish Juice from the Big Jelly. Then go to Santa's house and use it on his fireplace. The charcoal will be in there.

How do you drop a dog?

Its strange seeing Quote dressed up as a reindeer all the time. I sorta wish it would go back to normal. Although, I could just change the internal clock...Hm
