I was at the core boss on hard mode, but getting blasted to death by the giant white balls made me give up and go back to normal mode... good luck with hell!
@Jdarrell If you can get past the core, you can beat hard mode. Its the hardest boss in their, assuming you kept the Polar Star. I cant beat Hell with 8HP, so I beat Time Attack with the Spur, Nemesis, and Super Missles with a time of 4:34. Took hours.

Beat time attack under 5 minutes to get Toroko's theme, beat Time Attack under 4 minutes to get King's song. For the minutes, you can get the menu icon to change from Quote to Curly, King, Etc.

What I did was level up missles the most (If you chose the Spur), and let loose all of your missles on Ballos's final form. You do NOT stop for hearts or Exp, and only use the life pot near the Heavy Press boss, or after it.

Please, someone help me. I got this game when it came out but ended up walking away about a week ago not so far into the game. I really wanna get through it to see what the big deal is about it but I can't get past this part: Where the hell is the charcoal to make the bomb??
LOL, I got a little stuck on that part too. But man, you should have seen me when I was looking for Jenka's dogs. I could not find the last one to save my life! And then it turned out that the last dog was in the Sand Zone Residence the whole freaking time! Grrr... stupid dog! e3e LOL anyway... first you have to obtain the Jellyfish Juice from the Big Jelly. Then go to Santa's house and use it on his fireplace. The charcoal will be in there.
