Bought it just now after reading the glowing review. Not sure when I'll start playing.

The review made it sound like a pretty good game, but I'd like to hear others' impressions before I buy it (even though its a really decent price).

It bugs me when reviews don't mention that certain games were originally iPhone games. I would like to know if it has been tailored well to the system and is more than just a port of an app.

So, I got this game a few days ago and I really like it, but now that I'm into the 80's for levels, I can't seem to get 3-stars for completing levels. I've been reading the text that comes with the hint system, and it mentions something about laying out the flags "on-the-run-style." Can anyone help me out with this?

I have $2.00 + left in my eshop account, and I was just wondering if Candle Route actually lives up to the 8/10 score it was awarded here at NLife.

@ShoeWopBop, I truly believe you're asking way too much of a 200 point DSiWare title. If you don't like the fact that Candle Route wasn't tailored specifically for the DSi, then go try to find something better to download for only $2.00/200 pts.

also thinking of downloading this after the ninlife review, i know its less then £2 but ive abit of a backlog so... opinions please

@Andyv01, I think it's a really great puzzler for only 200pts./$2.00 + tax. Especially if you enjoy puzzlers with simple mechanics but offer plenty of logical challenge, you'll most likely find that Candle Route provides a very enjoyable experience. I really like the positively cheerful visual design as well. I had only reached the fourth level, and it was already becoming a thinking game. I have a very strong feeling I will encounter plenty of trial & error during my time spent with this game.

So after buying this 2 months ago I finally played this today. All I can say is: I wish I played this earlier! It's so great! So charming, fun puzzles, and cute music. I love it. I made it to stage 18 in one sitting.

Well, I bought it right after it came out, played it for a day or so, then got tired of it since such other great games came out (and NSMB2!) I may have to revisit Crayon Castle again hehe

I was playing this fantastic games and it said I got 100 stars and something else. I didn't catch the rest. Doesn't anyone know what it said?

I think it tells you that you've unlocked more levels iirc. You need a certain number of stars to proceed onto later levels, so that's probably what it is.

In my opinion this game is great and has a huge amount of content I think everyone should get this
