anyone else getting this.... i plan on getting it around 4pm est today and hope to give an update what its like around 8 or so (that is if my cold meds dont knock me out again--- had this stupid cold for 3 weeks now)
so far im finding it to be an okay game for 5 bucks... you earn break points to buy troops on each stage.. i dont think your troops stay with you from stage to stage. (stage 2 i got 3 knights 2 normal troops and 1 archer) i lost everyone besides 1 normal troop. on the start of stage 3 for some reason i have 2 normal troops...
as far as i can tell There is no way to pick what stage you can play in (just keep saying NEXT STAGE If you win if you lose it says GAME OVER)
i have yet to see if the upgrades move from stage to stage either yet... sort of a hard game since if you lose a troop its gone for good.... Think fire emblem but some upgrade stats in a way... hopefully more info later
just wondrer how many stages. (it would also be nice if you could go back to eariler stages to load up on break points)
Thanks for your early impressions of the game. Is there some kind of story or is it Fight and win then imidately on to the next battle? I look forward to more info on the game if you can give it.
at least 1 and 2 its win and go to the next battle .. no map no real story line no nothing..

Not really expecting much since it only uses 48 blocks or something like that.. the 3rd battle is insane hard... archers do no damage...and they basic units can kill your main person in 2 hits .
just got done with stage 3 had to put all of my break pts in defence... onto stage 4... it seems your Troops and your STATS do move on from stage to stage.. you can also upgrade your general BUT i dont see how that will work... Im getting like 4000 Break points per level and it cost 25,000 to upgrade a single stat in the general stats...
it seems you can also pick up weapons and other items dropped.. dont know what it does yet cause the only map i was able to pick something up i was killed before i won the stage.. it seems the best goal is to ram their general on every stage and not really try to take out the little people
Still CAN NOT find a way to move back to lower stages ( i dont think you can) if you could this game would be worth 5 bucks hands down.. Right now im on stage 4 out of ?? probally put in around 45 mins (thanks to getting killed over and over and over on stage 3) if you get killed you have to redo the entire stage
If you general gets KILLED its game over even if you have 6 other troops still alive. Overall even though the AI is sort of hard its still a fun game
MIGHT of spoke too soon... i put all of my break pts into defence on stage 3 and won.. put all of the break pts on stage 4 on defence and none of the AI creatures can even hurt any of my people on stage 4 or stage 5.. now stage 5 took around 30 mins cause my people can only move one spot at a time... if this is the case and if you can just keep tossing your break pts into one class and the AI not being able to touch you this game might get boring very quickly..... heading off to watch some movies so probally next update wont be till like 9 or 10 am est time.... about 1.30 at stage 6
about items dropped.. if the monster drops a sword your persons attack goes up for that level only.. drops a shield your def goes up for that level only and so on
UP TO Mission 10.... I havent used break points on anything since the 5th mission .. there is nothing that can do damage to my troops.... put around 4 hours into it.. okay game but could of been so much more.... still dont have a clue on how many missions.... even on mission 10 the AI can not put 1 damage on my troops
link to their review... a 4 out of what 10? nah i say its better then a 40% ranking.. It might be a little boring but it keeps drawing me back in to play another mission even though the ai cant hurt me ....
is it worth 5 bucks... for a simple little time killer i would say yea.... now to see just how long it is and if there is any replay
basic score i would give it... if your looking for a story mode you wont find it here its just win move on to next stage ...
fun time killer game i would give it at least a 6.5 out of 10 will know more tomorrow
though i will say its one of my top 10 games i liked while its lasting
Ending tonight on stage 11... dont know if i cleared stage 10 fast or you get a 5th type of troop on stage 11... it looks like there is enough room for 9 different types of troops..dont know if you need to do something special (like beat a stage within so many moves or if they open automatic)
still even on stage 11 the AI cant touch my troops maxxing out def on every round that i can
i still give it a 6.5 out of 10.... got up to mission (stage 11) tonight around 3 or so hours into the game maybe 4 hours ...... probally wont be able to play it till the weekend now.. Need to get back into monster quest joker 2 game so i might be putting this on the back burner
To me the reviewer seems to be expecting a full stratgey game rather than a DSiWare game which is only $4.99 and 48 blocks. Thanks for you'r impressions of the game. I will probably download it tomorrow along with Twin Bee since I don't think there will be that many good games comeing out next week because the free Four Swords game we are getting on Wednesday.

about 8 hours into the game on stage 19.... stage 3 and 13 was sort of a pain but no game over screens since stage 3...
dont know if you need to beat a stage by so many moves to unlock new units or what... cause i seen flyers and mages but there is no way to get them to join my army....
Still a nice time killer for 5 bucks..
Game is bugged after mission 18..
mission 19 to 22 all says i won on move 1 even if i moved 18 times

Up to mission 30... put around 11 hours into it... found out how to get the other troop types... you have to UPGRADE YOUR GENERAL to unlock the new troops..
So far hard missons were 3,13 and 25 (25 was a major pain in the butt , im luck i had enought Break points to upgrade my general enought to it could survive getting hit once or twice...
Even thoughi its a easy basic type of game.. i would now give it around an 8 out of 10... 11 hours + for a 5 buck game isnt bad still dont know how many missions
mostly saving up all my points since my knights are like attack 80 and def 95 and nothing can scratch them
Game length 30 missions ... took me between 11 to 12 hours to beat the game.. Turn based rpg build up your troops hybred type game
Hard missions Level 3, 13 and 25 took some time to get your plan right Replay vaule.... none that i see Worth the points.... 500 pts or 5 bucks for 11 hour game... was a nice time killer would be better at 200.. Worth buying? if you want a easy time killer turn based sort of a rpg build your troop game maybe Final score out of 100...... I would give it around 70% was too short. too easy but was a fun time killer..
too easy is if you pump all of your points into one unit NOTHING can hurt them.. By mission 30 i had my knights at attack 120 def 130 and the best AI had was Attack 30 def 20.... Very easy game to just walk thougt almost all levels with no problems .. if they would expand the missions (to say like 100+ ) make more then 9 types of troops and put in a story mode I would be more then happy to buy this on a cart based game
game is very easy no story just play mission win move onto next mission. Ending is very lame
