This thread has several good reasons you can look at.
I'm sure there is another thread in the 3DSWare forum about this too.
But well, I guess I could tell you a thing or two about this game...First of all, it's a great learning tool, you'll learn things that you can use in real life, with real paints. Most of the people here in NL who downloaded it never ever painted anything before and most ended up being quite good at it after taking the lessons included. I even know a certain person who bought the game 4 times just to paint more.Second, it's a great time waster and it's very fun in an artistic way.
It's technically free, so I think everyone who hasn't already should download it now.

I bought this (and second semester) when it came out on dsiware and always liked it. There's a Free Draw mode in both versions and I think it's a great app/game for the system. There's a DS cartridge for this game that combines the two semesters but both semesters feature Free Draw mode which made some people not like Second Semester as much because it seemed lighter on content.

got it !might be a good piece of meat before Colors! 3ds come out.its great,as long as you like drawing, painting or whatever.illustration/design is my daily work, and i had one or 2 tricks from this software.
but i strongly recommend watching what the team of Colors! will do. very promising, especially since you will be able to export your art.
