Topic: Argh! Freakin' Pyromaniacs! Fire Panic Impression

Bought this game today, 200 points, expecting it to be a pretty fun juggling type game like Flight Control. Man, this game is brutal. I've played this for about a half an hour and its frustrating that I'm not a whole lot better at this game than when I started. You have 2 fire trucks that you control and you need to put out fires around town. It starts out simple enough, but I don't know if its because I'm tired or something, but it seems like once you miss getting to a fire right away whether it be to go help a cat or take care of bees, your whole town is destined to be destroyed. Fires begin to spring up everywhere and a tornado randomly rips through your town, everyone is dead. Looking at the next screen after dying shows you a high score of 5000, after half an hour, I'm at just under 200, guess that means I suck at the game.

Does anyone else have any opinions?

Nevermind, I just suck at the game, my girlfriend totally crushed my score from the get-go. Apparently, I was doing it wrong and ran out of water to put out fires. I hate playing games where you have to read the instructions first.

LOL. Yeah, it's fairly difficult... I do like the Gameboy-esque 8 bit music, though, and the idea behind it all. I actually prefer this game over Flight Control because it's a bit more frantic and serious, Flight Control puts me to sleep!!

I like the game takes some time getting use too, but damn. What up with the transition of the difficulty? Its starts of Super Easy for a minute then straight to Super Hard.

Does the fire trucks actually run out of water? Or they lose there spray power?

Not sure, it seems like they lose their effectiveness because they're running out. Gotta head to the fire station to refill.

This game is a great example of what its like waiting tables in a busy restaurant. LOL. The more crap you take on, the more crap you gotta deal with lol Great, though, in a retro Gameboy feel, but extremely difficult.
