Mario. Like New Super Mario Bros. Or Pokemon. Any first party Nintendo game really. They are mostly very family friendly and have very high production values and are really polished

Super Princess Peach springs to mind.

If you want DSiWare games, check the reviews here on NintendoLife. They should give you an idea on what she may enjoy.

In a way exhausting

I thought Super Princess was like super rare though. For DSIWare, here's a link to the games, their genre and review scores: http://www.nintendolife.com/dsiware/games

If she likes to draw you could get her Art Academy. The first semester lessons are pretty simple, and she can also use it in free style mode to draw what she wants. http://www.nintendolife.com/reviews/2009/09/art_academy_first...

Cat Frenzy is a new one that just came out. It's really simple to play and the cats are soo cute! http://www.nintendolife.com/reviews/dsiware/cat_frenzy

Uno is a good card game that she might have played with her friends. http://www.nintendolife.com/reviews/2009/11/uno_dsiware
