if they had a firmware update for the DSi just like wii menu 4.0 and had a SD card app for your dsi that read your SD card and then you could select your DSi ware then play it. that would be very usefull sence the dsi has a very small memory card inside of it. but unlike the wii's SD card app it would be in one of the boxes were your other apps for your DSi are so it would not be on the side of your menu like the wii and instead in one of the app spaces

I'm sure that Nintendo is working on it. I would like to see this though. (First game I'm moving is Snapped! )

If they keep making DSiWare games, and when the release the DSi VC, then it will become a necessity.

The most necessary thing for Nintendo to to is to let you transfer your account if your DSi got lost or stolen or you simply want to buy a new DSi! .

but do you agre that if they made a SD card app it would be in one of the places were you can put your DSiware/apps like internet and DSi sound. and it would not be out in the front of the menu like the wii's SD card app. and the SD card app would be in one of the empty places were you put apps on the DSi menu?

Why? We live in 2009 and this really shouldn't be a problem on a technical side... Of course they could give each app a slot or could let you choose which apps you want to see on your DSi desktop... .

There was absolutely no reason for them not to have the Wiis 4.0 SD options on the DSi when it was released.

They knew while making the DSi that storage was a problem on the Wii and knew a solution, yet they don't do it for the DSi? It's just moronic, and I'm almost positive why they didn't do it.

1. Piracy. If you could read games from the SD card, I'm sure it would be easier to hack (It'll still happen, just not as fast)

2. Marketing. I bet they're holding that update back. My guess is they'll wait till they catch up and give us VC for the DSI (something that should've been there to begin with also) and give us the SD update at the same time and pat themselves on the back and claim to be in the forefront of gaming.

Whatever the reason is, it's just flat out moronic not to have it in the system in the first place.

why i want it in one of the spaces were you put your apps like the DSi sound app is because the DSi menu is not as big as a TV screen thats why on the wii it's on the bottom of the screen but on the DSi that would not work because the DSi's screen is not big enough

also if this app came out we would need a firmware update. i still hope there working on it. after people start complaining like fanboys whined at E3 08 for a SD card app for wii. eventualy it will happen

That's true. But on the other hand, Nintendo is somehow forcing it's user into piracy. You loose your DSi account and your games if you loose your DSi, you can't buy the games everybody's talking about because of different regions... I'm really annoyed by this North-Korea-like behaviour of Nintendo. As soon as there's a crack available, I'll get one... Not because I don't have the money, but because I don't want to give it to this company...

The standard behavior for not wanting to support a company is just don't buy --> so don't use their stuff ...

Sure their logic is way off, but people like you drive in more DRM instead of less. If these hypocritical "peope" who pirate because they don't like DRM would buy the games or not pirate the next game wouldn't have DRM.
