Never heard of that, might check it out. Haven't purchased anything recently but I'm looking to getting some screen protectors and harvest moon right now.
While my "latest DS purchase" was technically a few months ago by this point, it still fits the criteria, so....
I picked up a new copy of Professor Layton and the Unwound Future at a bargain bin price ($10 USD) when my local K-Mart was trying to get rid of their video game inventory. It's currently part of my backlog, but I'm currently playing its predecessor (Diabolical Box) and hope to get to it later this year.
Currently playing: Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story + Bowser Jr's Journey
@Saff Yeah, it's a steam-punk style fantasy RPG set in an alternate version of Earth. It's really good and well worth $6.99. If you're interested in the game, your best bet would be Gamestop's online website which has the game in-stock for $6.99 + $5 S&H. Everywhere else the game is ultra expensive, Amazon for instance has the game used for an average price of around $40 in acceptable condition and $80 in like-new condition and Gamestop's physical stores have around one copy for every 200+ miles.
I always wanted to try Nostalgia but never got around to it. Also, ironically I went out today and bought the first DS game I have bought in forever: Metroid Prime Hunters. I've wanted to give it a shot.
Radiant Historia - this has been on my list for a while but never quite at the price point I wanted. But in recent months the price has been going up, so I snagged the last one I could find at the original price just in case. Probably never play, but it's another to tick off the shopping list
You guys had me at blood and semen.
What better way to celebrate than firing something out of the pipe?
Guess many People aren't buying DS Games anymore.
I recently bought Fushigi no Dungeon: Fuurai no Shiren DS 2 aka. Mystery Dungeon: Shiren the Wanderer DS 2
The Shiren the Wanderer Series is just great Stuff all around and it's a Shame that many People don't care about it.
@Nagi_Nagisa
Eh... it's a beginning for me.
I started to buy Original NDS games from March 2014, thanks to Lord that gave me a chance to play Original copies instead of pirated. Thanks to an Enlightenment from someone who was also an Original game collector that inspired me to do same thing like him.
Bought a DS Lite recently as I wanted to try some GBA games. Hadn't realised there was such a thing as a save battery on the carts though, and that the market is seemingly swamped with bootleg carts...

My last ds purchase was Tetris DS. And before that Harvest Moon DS Cute.
And yeah, some official GBA releases do use batteries to keep up the save files. With some few games even having different versions that use batteries or flash memory (or even other methods) , impossible to distinguish without opening the cartridge.
My most recent Ds purchase was Rhythm Heaven/Paradise. Got it on eBay for 15€, a price I was more than willing to pay. I love all of the Rhythm Heaven games and that was the last one missing in my collection 😊
Just got Hotel Dusk: Room 215 by the sadly defunct studio CiNG.
It has me totally hooked. Its one of those rare DS games that makes you hold the DS sideways like a book.
More interactive novel than game really with a dusty 70's Noir aesthetic and pencil sketch art direction.
The music is sometimes inappropriately jaunty and the plot moves forward at a particularly lethargic pace but the writing is so charming and earnest that you kind of start appreciating the humdrum banter of the characters as a refreshing alternative to the usual high stakes melodrama of most games.
