Topic: Your Favorite Game On Retro Game Challenge

@Stuffgamer1: The Gamestop in my town is ran by a bunch of 360 fanboys. A couple of times they asked me why I didn't get a game for the 360 instead of one for the PS3. I told them I decided to fight against the man and not get anymore 360 games after mine tore up. They then said "whatever man!" One of those guys also threw a pen at me one time as well. Hit my leg. What can I say, the Gamestop here is definitely top notch

I still say you should have pegged them with that pen. I'd have given them a ballpoint enema.

@JJosh: Geez, what a bunch of maroons! Nobody around here questions getting a game on PS3 instead of 360 anymore, and I've managed to train coworkers to expect me to want multisystem games on PS3.

I'm from "bloody" Harlan, KY (thought you may have heard of it - Harlan County, USA is a movie), the stupidness is not as bad as it used to be, but most of the people around here are freaking idiots.

Like bringing Soulcalibur to Wii... Or Keeping Travis Touchdown ONLY on Wii No 360 or PS3 for Travis..

Star Prince and Haggle Man 1 for me. HM 2 was too hard, and even though HM 3 was great and all, I liked the style of the first 2 better. Guadia Quest was actually one of my LEAST favorite games.

@JJ. They threw a pen at you? Just for having a PS3? Geez, what a bunch of @$$holes! Thankfully I don't have anyone like that working at MY Gamestop. Mine are just idiots.

@Ricardo91: No, the pen throwing was a few weeks later. I think they were just throwing a pen to be throwing a pen. It flew halfway across the store though, and it's a pretty big Gamestop lol

Not as Bad as Georgia.... I Took out A PepsiCan & was out in the country drinking it some old man told me don't bring that nasty stuff here Then he Actually knocked it out of my hand & crushed it... I had just opened it... lets say I felt like going Tails doll on him...

what does imo meann???? what system is retro game challenge for? is it funn? can smeone tell me about it?

That is my other fav on that game. Hard as crap if you dont use Turbo.

RGC is a bunch of games you play in the 1980s Shooting Games (Cosmo Gate Star Prince.) Action Games (Haggle Man Series.) Racing Games & an RPG title.

@SUPERZELDAMAN: And IMO means "in my opinion." Gee, I thought all the young kids were supposed to know this lingo...I only learned that one a few months ago!

Guadia Quest is cool and probably my second favorite, but eventually I got tired of needing to press A for every text prompt in battle--considering that there are usually a couple dozen of them per fight. It's not too big, but even small flaws can hold a game back from my top spot when it's vying with Star Prince. Genuinely great vertical shooter: between fast action from your movement and that of enemies' and a diversity of bonuses, SP left me with no complaint except that I wanted it to last longer.

If ever RGC's creators were willing to make just a full-fledged old-school-style shooter of at least twelve levels or so and a couple modes, to be released for DS or a downloadable service, I'd totally bite. Same if they ever made nothing except a Guadia Quest about twice as long as RGC's. (From what I hear, Guadia Quest Saga in RGC2 is longer, though I don't know by how much.)

1.) Haggleman 1. Really fun and enjoyable.
2.) Guadia Quest. Fun but can get sometimes annoying.
3.) Star Prince. Fun shmup, but the second part always kills me.
4.) Rally King. Can be fun if u got skills, but otherwise annoying.
5.) Cosmic Gate. Sometimes fun.

Haggleman 2 was way too hard, And I never got past episode 2 in Haggleman 3. Rally King SP isn't worth mentioning.

I've seen vids of RGC 2, and imo, the games on there don't really look interesting.
