Topic: Will EUR DS Games Play on USA DSI XL?

I bought the New Super Mario Bros. from eBay a few min ago. I just noticed on the game it says it's EUR. Will I have any problem playing it on the USA DSI XL (Mario 25th Anniversary)

Of course. The DS family is region locked ; DS, DS Lite, DSi, DSiXL will play games that have a region that's different from the system's. Note that DSiWare is region locked, though. That shouldn't matter, because the DSi Shop is sort of limited, and all software on the Shop is the same region of your DSi.

Just so you know, I have a Japanese DSiXL I do all my DS gaming on, European and American software.

The most recent DS games are region locked for DSi and 3DS btw. New Super Mario Bros. should work fine though.

Thanks alot guys for the input. I bought my daughter the DSI xl for xmas and I was going to get a few games for her. What games do you recommend for a 6 year old? So far I have Mario Kart (came w/ Mario 25th DSI) and Mario Bros.

Seriously, the DS has a HUGE library, even if we exclude the shovelware. Fortunately, the DS also has a lot of games that appeal to the females.
