I think it'd be awesome, but if they did do it, it might end up being a DSi exclusive game, since it will clearly need a lot of processing power and whatnot.

It's on Wii already and I doubt anyone here has fully completed it, so why ask for more on another format, where all the good bits will be ripped out and you will have an online Smash Bros 64, with obligatory lag.

Smash is for 2-4 player fun, locally, so you can at least get in someone's face when you win, and you can all laugh TOGETHER when something crazy happens 'n' you all go boom!

Having played SSBB online, lag aside, its a pretty soul-less experience.

@Adam...... I have Jump Superstars and yes it is a GREAT game. The fighting controls work very well with the touch screen used for special powers wich can be combined via stategic use of placing cards on bottom screen. Its very creative and adds a lot of strategy to the brawler type games. Its worth every penny spent on it, including the 20+ pages in ink used to print out the guides for translation. You will play it and be like "Why the HE!! doesn't Nintendo put out a Smash game on DS" I swear. Think of this, fighting with mario against Bowser..... instead of the usual moves being able to touch a command prompt that you strategically set up on the bottom screen that triggers a UberSpecial that includes Mario, Luigi and Link. (Red and Green flames surrounded in Triforce maybe) that devastates your opponent. Heck the Smash Balls could be just the thing that would allow you to be able to trigger it.................My heart is now racing with excitement that will prob never see light of day

I want it but they said it won't happenBut I'll still believe in it.I hope there's a third Jump game and they make it for U.S.Also I want DBZ BT 4 if it happens.

it'd be great if downloadable characters were introduced in a DSi edition SSB

This was one of the first ideas I ever had for a game when the DS came out, and I always assumed that Nintendo had gotten right on it. Apparently I'm wrong...but, why not? I think it would be awesome! Maybe it might be a bit hard to pull off, but I'm sure Nintendo would find a way to make it work out. I really want to see this happen.

Mainly due to the fact that every single employee, manager, CEO and the president of Nintendo hates you and thinks your idea is stupid and think your parents should love you less because of it...Does that sum it up for you?

Yeah, and then you have to pay 34.95$USD to buy the game and spend another 30.00$USD to buy all the characters....Nintendo is not Square-Enix...

There is no point to that though, why hold characters out of SSB just so some people can download? What if a fanatic doesn't have internet?

Nintendo would make them free to download

they can be DSi exclusives, which would help them sell more DSi's

plus i heard about their plans to release DSi exclusive game carts so maybe they'll make a SSB game with that

And yet another way to kill the game, what if non-dsi players want to play it?

I've often thought about a Smash Bros. DS. It seems like a good idea to me. Jump! Ultimate Stars looks lame to me, but that's just my opinion.

Oh nothing! I never said I was smarter than you now did I, though I`ve read your last few comments on this Forum and your getting cocky with some peoples comments/opinions. Just like to see how you liked it & it seems ya` don`t. You know just acting like a big shot, even though your a little bang
