Yeah, but Nintendo DON'T expect you to buy this. This is obviously not for current content DSi owners, because (and this is subtle I know): this product is basically exactly the same! Only in comically oversized format.

The only person that expects you to own everything Nintendo releases is you by the sounds of it. Give Nintendo a break! They have obviously identified a market for this. I have no idea what that market could POSSIBLY be, given as the DS Phat and DS Lite both sold like hot cakes with their (apparently) teeny-tiny screens.

I can't decide whether this model is for the exceptionally elderly or the very young. I would assume the former, but I think Baby Boomers commuting to work on public transport everyday is about as old a demographic as you can target with a hand held, and the DS Lite pretty much has that market nailed already.

Basically, the DSi LL is just an overweight DSi with a bigger screen, making everything look streched and more pixelated. Sacrifice portability to make things look worse and to increase the charging time? Eww.

Probably, my DS Lite has its screens smashed and my brother hogs the DSi, plus I don’t like the DSi's L and R buttons.

Having a look at the colours, that Dark Brown one looks nice, nice, baby. I know i said this before, but Nintendo, if your reading this, put some larger mega-pixel cameras in this one please, then i'll consider buying one.

As much as I'm against the DSiLL, I have to point out that the charging time is increased because its battery life is longer. Naturally, longer battery life, longer charge time.

...not me. There is no black colour, and I think that my DSOnei would not play in this. Besides, if I REALLY wanted to play with one, I would just wait for either of my brothers to semi-inevitably obtain one.

Considering that I already have a DSi and that I just got it like 3 months ago... pass.
Plus, my dad would absolutely FREAK out if I told him I wanted one, because of the way I complained about wanting the DSi.

I only have a DS Lite, and I wanted a DSi for awhile now, so I might get this. Portability doesn't matter to me, since I don't carry my DS around in a pocket, but in a bag instead. Though, I hope games won’t look pixilated, and stretched, but we have to wait for hands on reviews to confirm that.

I actually have that slime shell on my blue DSi and man, it looks freaking sweet! I got it at PlayAsia before they sold out of them but there is a chance that they may re-release them again when Dragon Quest IX comes out next year.
