There can only be one, like in that foreign movie where there could only be one, and in the end there is only one dude left, because that was the point.

I know there has been good games in the past couple of years but a lot of those were remakes. These all have potential to be great games that get talked about for years to come. I need to get all the recently released dragon quests games but don't have the time to play all these games.

EO3 and FF4WoL will get largely forgotten quite quickly, since they're not huge releases. DQ9 will stick around since its a huge release, and GS3 will hang around simply because of its baffling fanbase.

There has been a steady stream of great DS RPGs for a few years now, the upcoming release schedule is prettu standard looking. Etrian Odyssey looks fun, but is expensive and hard to find, Golden Sun looks to be 3D slow and lacking in merits to redeem it from being below quicker-paced 2D remakes, and FF4WoL looks much like FFIII which few people loved probably worthwhile a few months after release for $20-25

I would agree with eo3 as this the most hard core of the 4 but ff4hol has the potential to be the biggest of the 4 in my opinion. Final fantasy is the more popular franchise here in the states anyways. Dragon quest and golden sun have the backing of Nintendo so they will also be widely successful but ff4hol will sell a lot of copies on name alone!

If I was only ever able to have Monster Hunter and EO games in the future, I would be a happy man.

Golden Sun: Dark Dawn. I was so hooked on the GBA original. Also, Pokemon Black & White when that is released.

. I just prefer such long games to be on a console. With a portable it's too easy to put it down for a while and forget where you are.

that's the exact oposite of me lol. I usually don't have tim,e to sit through a 50 hour adventure on a home console, such as Twilight Princess

Same here, I prefer rpgs to be on handhelds rather than consoles but I still enjoy consoel rpgs.
