This is one of my favourite games of all time, Little Big Adventure 2 Twinsen's Odyssey: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2w7jBzkQ8ho&feature=related I was wondering if there are any games similar to it on ds? Not necessarily story-wise but gameplay-wise mainly. All recommendations appreciated. I didn't post this in the game recommendations thread because that's mainly for people asking stuff like "what are good fps games?" needing just one reply, whereas this is a sort of limitless question.
I think he is not asking for an FPS, anyway to answer your question, I don't think there are any other ds games that have that game's unique perspective and gameplay. But I could recommend you some games that might be similar:
Resident Evil ds - It has the same type of view. There is a mix of puzzle, action and survival.
Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles (RoF and EoT) - Hack and Slash dungeon rpg with puzzle solving elements, loads of customization, etc.
other mentions - Contact, Crash of the Titans, Super Mario 64, Kingdom hearts 358/2 days, Ninja Gaiden DS. I'm sorry that there is no similar game, I guess the DS does better with 2D games. But if you can tell me what you like about that game, I could help you a little bit better.
Yeah, Twinsen"s Odyssey is an amazing game, but i can't remember of any game on DS that plays like LBA2. Maybe you should try Runaway - The Dream of the Turtle, it is somewhat similar.
