Mine has to be the Lite. Although the DSi is just $40 more, I think the Lite looks and plays better (buttons on the DSi are way clicky and the D-Pad sucks for 3D games). Plus you get the SLOT-2 (GBA Slot) not found on the DSi.

In order of preference - The DSi, then the DS Phat and finally the DS Lite. I prefered the robust chunkyness of the Phat to the Lite and I also hated the way the lite felt when I played Mario Kart compared to the Phat. Also because I played a lot of GBA games (golden sun, etc.) on the DS the Phat was perfect unlike the Lite.
However I upgraded to DSi on launch day (an early Birthday Present) and I havnt regreted getting it. I just find it a better package than the other two and I have enjoyed a lot of DSiware downloads since. Asphalt 4 is a great example. And as far as the GBA slot, who cares, you can pick up a reconditioned Gameboy SP for a fiver these days, I did.

I'd say DSi as well. Looking at my DS Lite the screens are really small. It really makes a difference. Also, it looks nicer than the DS Lite, in my opinion.
I agree with you, Raptor. I think having a dsi and a ds (any model with the gba slot) is the way to go!
