SNES was crappy. I mean, just adding Super...really? Gamecube was kinda generic. N64 and Wii? I kinda like those; they're original. DS & 3DS? Those got the job done. DSi just sounds like an awkward mash-up between Wii, Wii U, and DS. Game Boy was okay.

Lol. You just made me laugh you say the SNES was a bad name cause they just added Super but you like N64??? Would you have liked it better if they called it a SuperN?

the ds could've been called: Super Nintendo Entertainment System Dual Screen 3-Dimensional Rendering Capable Hardware. Or SNESSDS3DRCH.
awsome name eh?
Just be thankful they didn't name it the " City Boy". That was a name under consideration because it would be a console you would take around with you, alongside continuing the Gameboy line of branding.

On second thought, SNES isn't that crappy, but it sure was a lazy name. But my opinion on the N64 as a good console name still stands; it sounds original, unique, and it worked. Now City Boy as a considered DS name? That's original, but that just sounds stupid (64 might not be the brightest thing, but it doesn't sound that generic).

^I was kidding before, but now I'm mad. Since when did sales determine the quality of a platform? WHEN?! Never, that's when. Take your numbers somewhere else.
I'm completely with Mickeymac here. The PSP is a great piece of hardware (especially when one considers that it was made in 2004), and it has a really solid lineup of games, especially for RPGs. If we do numbers logic, then clearly the Atari 2600 is better then the Dreamcast. That is a caps lock LIE!

Then what do they determine?
