I currently have a shiny Floatzel (Platinum) but also had a shiny Gyarados (Crystal) and a shiny Taillow (Ruby) but no longer have the Taillow (traded for a Lv 100 Aggron) and the Gyarados could not be traded to Pearl or Platinum.
I have an awesome shiny Alakazam named Psycadelic. He's one of the pillars of my Kanto/Sevii Island team.

"Shiny" is a Pokemon fandom term for a Pokemon of alternate coloration, like the red Gyarados at the Lake of Rage. Shiny Pokemon are extremely rare, which is why they're highly sought after. Really, you have to get pretty lucky to nab a shiny Pokemon; I've only caught around three, and I've played more Pokemon than can possibly be good.

I found one when I had a walk through walls cheat on my diamond version (I just beat the game before I used the action replay) It was the first time ever I had encountered a Shiny pokemon, so I catch it (naturally with one of my infinite masterballs) *but I did not cheat to find the shiny, I just happened to be chance. after that I went on my bike and headed to the southern part of route 210. I when on one of the red circles and my game froze. I never used action replay again. ._.
None, never bought another game after either Blue or Red I can't remember which, thought it was pretty decent but never really wanted to play another version, they looked too similar and I always ended up buying something else instead.
Despite my combined 1000 hours spent on all versions combined, I have only caught a Shiny Teddyursa in Gold version (which I never evolved because I never knew if evolving would make it lose shiny-ness).
Needless to say it was funny having a level 50 Tedyursa beat Lance's Dragonite
I can't wait for SoulSilver to come out because it means a sure-fire red Gyarados for me, which is my favorite shiny Pokemon ever. Gyarados + Red = Pure win.

I had a large collection of Shinies on my GS games, but Silver was lost and Gold stopped working.
In R/S/E: Shiftry (evolved from a Seedot, migrated to Diamond) Milotic (evolved from Feebas, got REALLY lucky there, haven't found another shiny in Hoenn since...)
In FR/LG: Nidoking (evolved from Nidorino) Muk (evolved from Grimer) Gengar (evolved from Gastly, traded from LG to FR, migrated to Pearl)
