Topic: What Has Better Value? DSiWare or DS Cart?

Just curious... throwing this out there for debate... What has better value? A full-fledged dsi cartridge or a dsiware game? Does it truly depend on the ds cart or dsiware game or do ds carts have more depth and replay value since we assume they hold more memory and storage... What is the storage capacity for a DS cart vs. a dsiware 800 pt game? When we spend $20 on a ds cart we assume it's gonna pack more punch than an $8 800 pt dsiware game, right? Or is that just me? (and is this true?)

Wow. Great findings, zss_shadow!! Why not just have the capability of having an "online nintendo store" not just for dsiware but for EVERYTHING? How cool would that be? Kind of like iTunes Store or iPhone apps store, etc. Nintendo might need to step up its game if it is going to compete with the iphone apps and games (and its in the same market, really, so they are going to have to if they want to get more sales.)

That's such a shame that a company would put out a game thats smaller than a dsiware game in size and charge more... I guess times are changing, though, and they could probably make an easier buck by putting it up on the dsiware store (for approval, anyway)... Impulse buys on your dsi i think is the way to go for them now ;)) I hope UFO (a ds cart maker of some fairly lame games) is listening... ;)

Odnetnin... I agree with you... Obviously the replay value is in the eye of the beholder. I would have easily paid $20 for Flipnote, Asphalt 4 and Minis if they were ds carts.

Hell, I paid 40€ for Glory Days 2 and don't regret it one bit.

I know this is off topic, but... I really would like that "100 book classics" ds game, its only in europe, if i buy it overseas from a site and get it, will it play on my north american dsi?
