Thanks.

Yes, Mario Kart DS is good, and the other games, too.

Here are some fun ones too:
Tetris DS
Sper Mario 64
Advance Wars: Dual Strike (this is a great DS game! =)

I'll even add one to hope to get in the future: Shining Force Feather that will be released in Japan on the DS sometime. I just visited the official JPN website and there are some cool movies and such (look under Game then System)! It looks and sounds awesome! There's even like dialogue and stuff, I think by the credits!

Yeah, I haven't played a Shining Force game before, but after hearing about it hear on 'nl', I did some research and was pleasently surprised!

I think there's an actual GBA game too, if it was released where you are, and if its the original DS or DS Lite you have...

...then I will even mention good GBA games, say, like The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap or The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past Four Swords! lol

Thanks for the suggestions. I may check out Devil Survivor and Kirby Squeak Squad, as I already have everything else listed. I'm surprised no one mentioned Meteos or Kirby Canvas Curse

I picked up Polarium for $5 used at GameStop and I found it to be a great little puzzler. Viewtiful Joe: Double Trouble is a cool platformer fun in small doses too.

New Super Mario Bros.
The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass (best game on DS)
Metroid Prime: Hunters
Any of the three Kirby games. I suggest Canvas Curse/Power Paintbrush because it makes some great use of the touch screen.
Pokémon Diamond/Pearl/Platinum, particularly Platinum as it is the biggest version. This one is one of the most recommendable one as is lasts for months.
Tetris DS.... Naturally!
Castlevania (any of the three)
Chrono Trigger
Final Fantasy 3 or 4
Super Mario 64 DS
Mario Kart DS is another no-brainer when going on vacation.
Yoshi's Island DS
Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars
Sonic Rush (Adventure)

There are some others I forogt about or have not yet played.

Starfy for sure! Ultra is good as well, and are my two fave games in my collection so far. I'll probably go pick up MK DS for my trip to Vancouver in a couple of weeks.

I already saw alot of what I have, but I don't think I saw Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon. Great game.

@minial100: You got Starfy too? That is a really great game. Hopefully they localize the other 4!
