Topic: Ugh, what am I doing wrong?! (HeartGold)

That trading thread thing is pretty much dead, and I don't really feel like making another Pokemon topic. Anyone out there with SoulSilver have Groudon? Would like to use it to make Rayquayza appear...then again after getting orb I would like to actually trade Kyorge for the Groudon, I like it more than that freaky blue whale thing, lol.

How do I get to Palette Town, in SS.

Have you faced Snorlax yet? If you haven't, go to Vermilion City to where Snorlax is blocking your path. Save your game, then go into you're Pokéwhateverwiththeradio and manually search around until you find the Poké Flute station. Set that to what's playing, then talk to Snorlax. A battle will ensue.

Snorlax may be at Lv. 50, but he's kind of a pushover. Weaken him a little bit and see if he's holding a Leftovers (55% chance according to serebii.net). If he isn't, restart your game and repeat the above steps until he does. Leftovers is a freakin' awesome hold item. Anyways, weaken him down until he's in the red and throw Heavy Balls at him (he's a fat piece of lard, after all) and you should have yourself a brand-new Snorlax. Afterwards, heal yourself if Snorlax took a big bite out of your team and continue on through Diglett Tunnel, and you should be near Pewter City. It's only a few small routes down until you're arrived in Pallet Town.

This is only if you've not caught/defeated Snorlax, though. If you have, just inch your way south.
