Topic: TV on da DSi (also known as Wii No Ma)

But now that that's over, I hate it. Original content, hm. Super Mario Bros. cartoons, didn't work in the 80's and they won't work now.

I wasnt rlly thinking original content(God dat would suck), I was thinking more like what Netflix is for the Xbox. What do you think about that?

Wii No Ma for DSi from what I heard can only hold about 30 minutes of video at a time. And it's not streamed on the DSi either, how it works is that you stream the TV show on the Wii, and then use your DSi to download the show. But like I said you can only download about 30 minutes worth of video, and only one show at a time. Not the best piece of software for video entertainment, but I guess Nintendo could improve it in time.

From what I've seen in videos for Wii no ma on Wii are Wildlife and cooking shows, both can be viewed on the Wii and DSi, but the DSi can't stream it directly. But Wii No Ma isn't just about TV shows and videos, there's a feature on it that tells you where you can get cheap film or sports tickets, and you can download whats called a "Digital Coupon" to your DSi so that you can save money on your next Fast food meal or mobile phone top up.

thanks but i believe Japan is a testing ground, and I think Nintendo, depending on who they get to sponsor them, will give us something good here. think about it we have the SD card, why not be able to save the shows to that? Why shouldnt we be able to have the same program as the wii is getting? I think its just a matter of time b4 we'll hear more on this, but thanks for telling me whats going on!

I for one am looking forward to Wii No Man and I can't wait for it and Nintendo Zone to come to the USA. Furthermore I'd like to make use of the ability to buy food from your DSi like the people in Japan can do already via Wii No Ma incombination with their DSi systems.
