So, who got the game and how is it? Pretty excited that we got this today cause I had hoped it would come here since I saw it revealed in the JP trailer.
Aw, I was hoping it was going to be like the last Turvy title, but this sounds pretty different, and I can't find much of anything to see what it's like exactly. I'm waiting for the review.
It looks good, but I'm curious how fun/playable it is -- seems like it might be confusing if that's your ship on the bottom screen and you're tapping on the top screen to control things somehow.
The ship is your target (AI). Basically its a role reversal: Instead of you using a ship to shoot enemies, you're using enemies to shoot the lone ship.
The reason it's held upside down is to maintain the orientation of Star Force, which is what it's based upon. Fun little game, I linked to the first impressions article I did on it in the downloads news, but if you can't be bothered: http://dsiware.nintendolife.com/news/2010/03/first_impression...
Downloaded it. It's a great game, if repetitive and painful on the arm. Not too much variety but fun for its unusual premise and interesting gameplay. You play as the enemy computer in a SHMUP, drawing the movements paths enemies take and tapping them to make them shoot. Pretty awesome, though kind of easy.
Bought the game and played it, its alright. It is impossible to lose as long as you're willing to continue playing, at least that is how it felt to me. After 20 levels, the stages and enemies repeat, I played past 27 and figured there would be better things to do with my time instead.
What is the meaning of life? That's so easy, the answer is TETRIS.
@sykotek That's exactly how I feel. There's no challenge once you get it, and it only takes a couple minutes to get it. Got bored after a bit and purposefully died because it wasn't getting any harder or more interesting.
