@Birdman13 I just got some hope left that they put some more effort into the PAL-manual. As my US Thor was damaged, I was able to send it back to the seller and just ordered it from the UK. That's why I would like to know which Aliens-version wheels2050 got.

Whoops, sorry, I forgot about this thread - my copy of Aliens: Infestation is a US version. I'm not sure what the PAL manual is like - it's tough finding out much information about any part of the game, given not many people seem to have bought it.

I used to have a blog link here. I'll put it back up when the blog has something to read.

I've gotten a pirate Wizard of Oz: Beyond the Yellow Brick Road. The pirate manual was 100% plagiarized from Wikipedia, GamePro and I think MetaCritic. (though I knew it was bootleg and soon as I got it and noticed the back of the packaging had a HAL copyright, which I quickly realized the pirates made a fake cover by PhotoShopping Kirby SSU.)
I later bought an authentic copy and sure enough, it was entirely different.

Another thing I've noticed of a couple pirates I have seen (my only other is a much more convincing fake Tetris DS) is to notice a string of characters printed on the back of the game card. On authentic DS cards, the first four characters xxxx should match the NTR-xxxx code on the packaging and card label. I'd guess it's one detail they've overlooked or are too cheap to replicate.

@Wheels2050 Thanks for your answer. That are actually great news! That means I am going to get the UK-version of Aliens: Infestation.
As I already said I bought the US-version of Thor a few weeks ago and sent it back as it was broken. Today I just received my UK-version of Thor and it seems Sega spends more money on their PAL releases. The manual is just the way manuals used to be.
There is the story, a menu description, a way more detailed controls section, an explanation of the orbs and all the runes and a detailed introduction to the important characters and enemies.
