My main problem with this list is that there are so many fantastic games out for the ds that a top 25 doesn't do it justice - a top 50 or even 100 would be far better.

Actually I find it hard to make a top 10 list of DS games, let alone a top 25. I can't say I've encountered many must have games. I'm already having a better time with the 3DS.
You're in the minority man. If you don't like platformers, RPG's, adventure games and puzzle games, then I get it, but there's a lot of really quality stuff on the system.

i actually agree with Pokemon being number one. No other series on the DS has sold as many...but it should be taken as an opinion of the top 25 DS games because that's all that it is
Nope, I don't agree with that list at all. TWEWY and 999 should be higher, and Okamiden, Bowser's Inside Story and Ghost Trick should - at the very least - be on the list somewhere. Oh and more PW games!!

Honestly, I didn't have as many gripes with it as I thought I would. Even NSMB was placed slightly lower than I was expecting - I still don't think it's one of the best 25 games for the system, but I've had to reluctantly accept that I'm in the minority on that one. I would've loved to have seen Radiant Historia, Ghost Trick, Hotel Dusk and/or Retro Game Challenge squeezed in there somehow, but aside from cheating with the Pokemon series at 1, there are only so many games that can be included in these sorts of lists and everybody isn't going to be happy with the results (unless you want to cover your butt and do about 50 "Honorable Mentions" or something).
I suppose my only "real" complaints are that Bowser's Inside Story should be on there instead of Partners in Time (which has no business being on that list, let alone top 5) and while I liked Kirby Mass Attack a lot, I wouldn't rank it above Canvas Curse.

I disagree with you greatly here. Partners in Time was a fantastic game through and through. It's only fault throughout the entire game was that one mini-game where you had to push buttons to try to shoot down UFOs. Otherwise, it was flawless.
And Mass Attack was a surprisingly fun game that made good use of the otherwise useless touch screen, while Canvas Curse is an exercise in frustration and proof that touch screen controls are flawed.

No Radiant Historia but they dare put Picross and zelda spirit tracks? Was this list made by a casual 13 year old gamer?

My list would certainly be different, but I'm not complaining about their list. It just shows how many more games I could potentially have great experiences with. The Nintendo DS library has a large number of amazing games.

What can I say, I thought Partners in Time was filled with some forgettable characters, lackluster villains and simply wasn't as funny as either Superstar Saga or Bowser's Inside Story (which really should've been on that list regardless of what I think of PiT - they couldn't have dumped their least favorite DS Castlevania or something?). There wasn't much wrong from a technical aspect, the battle system itself was executed about as well as one would expect and it looked nice enough, but it's the only game of the three that managed to bore me for extended stretches. It just didn't feel nearly as fresh either of the other two games. And, admittedly, the new focus on the babies was never going to garner any additional goodwill from me.
And I feel just the opposite about Canvas Curse, it provided a tighter gameplay experience than Mass Attack and it actually sold me on the touch screen as a viable control method. Nearly every time I screwed up in CC it felt like it was due to lack of skill, whereas MA occasionally punished the player's inability to finesse trickier sections and boss fights because of the inherent difficulty of trying to move 10 characters with one press of the stylus - which, to that game's credit, still works fine ~90% of the time.

Casual doesn't always mean bad. Say what you will about Spirit Tracks, but Picross DS was an incredibly addictive puzzler with an extensive amount of content. I was dreaming in grids and various number combinations for months because of that game.

I'm sorry, I take it back. But still Radiant Historia should be there. It's the best JRPG we've had since the PS1 era.
