hmm strange mine felt from a bit higher out of my pocket while i was changing a Bulb in my room and it still works maybe its the batterie try to charge it if theres no orange light the battery is loose
Have you checked the battery? It might have shaken loose. As for it being the most fragile, I disagree. I have dropped mine about 4 or 5 feet (don't ask how) and it still works.
Battery was taken out and put back in, but nothing happened.
All is not lost; you can send it in to Nintendo for repair. If it's still in warranty (1 year I believe?), it may be completely free. If not, they'll still probably repair it for a reasonable price.
EDIT - if you do send it to Nintendo, make sure you don't tell them that you dropped it. Just say that it suddenly wouldn't turn on; as long as the exterior wasn't damaged in a visible way from the fall, they'll have no way to challenge you on it.
I can't even tell you how many times i've dropped my DSi. Still going strong. Though, i have put my iPhone through even more abuse, and it still works. We'll just have to see which one goes first (I'm guessing the iphone 1-6 months after the contract expires).

And remember you can extend the warranty by 3 months if you sign up for Club Nintendo and register your DSi there.
xbox 360 is the most fragile console ever. And that's a fact.
Ah yes very true. <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<< went through 5 In 4 years. Edit: Ive had about 5 or so DSI drops from about 4 1/2 feet(in those little rocks) or so and if you hold the bottom screen and shake it their is about less then a quarter Inch of play (when its in the first click holding position)in the top screen. But other then that no problems.
Guys, you really should be more careful with any electronics. :| I know accidents happen, but you can't blame the system when you drop it and it gets damaged. The nice thing about the old Game Boys and GBA was they didn't have any hinges or moving parts so they were really sturdy. The DS requires more care.
Most fragile console goes to X360, while most fragile handheld might be the Game & Watch. Or one of those DS ripoffs.
If it turns out to be a fuse problem, you will have to take it apart and this method will void your warranty. Also if your electronic skills are not great, get a adult to help you. I had to replace a fuse in my old DS once with the help from my Dad, and that fixed the power problem.
If that sounds like too much work or it's not on of those problems, then they just send it to Nintendo and get it repaired.
EDIT: Looking at the guide, it says it doesn't know the Fuse value. If the Fuse value is known, you can just solder a new SMD (Surface Mount Device) Fuse on top of the blown one, rather than removing it.
You guys like that much to drop expensive electronics?

I'm usually very careful with my products, but just recently I horrendously dropped my DSi on accident. Luckily I purchased one of those black metallic protective shells, so the outside remains unscratched, and as far as I am aware, the DSi still works good as new.
