Great question! I love that you can now play your own music on the DS via the SD Card slot, and I love alot about the system... the style, the theme of the OS, and most importantly, I am loving the DSiWare Shop and downloadable games. I think the next system will have alot to live up to in terms of features and things to do and play with in the OS.

i bust out the camera on occasion to take pics to post to facebook (it's cheaper than trying to use my phone to do so), and the DSiWare shop is fun, but i think the best part is the larger screens and better speakers than the Lite. I also like the ability to change screen brightness on the fly. :3

DSi Shop, bright and large screens that seem pretty scratch resistant, good sound quality for a portable speaker, and very easy to get online. Could not possibly care less about the camera and the music feature since I have an iphone.
I like the music and photo apps because I don't have a personal camera/photo album (I like carrying around my photos and being able to capture new photos on the fly); and I love the option for listening to speakers or earbuds. That was a MAJOR complaint of mine the one time I got an iPod. The speakers will be great when the DSi gets video support (Please please please. LOL). The SD card makes both of these even more useful.
I love DSiWare. I can't wait for more apps.
I also love the new menu. It's fun and cute; and I love the feedback blue balls I get when I click on something (I love touch screens).
I like the browser because I can't carry around my computer everywhere with me (and there are a surprising amount of open WiFi spots if you look, especially if you live in a city. Some cities even have a WiFi bubble over the whole city. Nintendo just needs to somehow add support for WiFi spots that have login pages or just welcome pages. I don't know how they can do that; but I've found a lot of those, which can only be used with the DS Browser because it's the only one that can load in the welcome screen). The touch screen makes the browser even more useful since input is made easier than it would be if I had to scroll around a virtual keyboard with the D pad (what a pain that would be).
I love the internal memory because it means that I can load up my DSi with apps without having to buy cartridges.
Frankly, I'm loving this iteration so much more than any of the previous Gameboy's/DS's. There are some areas of improvement; but it's great.
I've had fun with the camera, wifi facebook integration, and Flipnote Studio.
I guess the thing I like most about dsi is what caused me to buy one in the 1st place, dsiware. Sure there are only 2 games I find exceptional (MvsDK, MFC) several just good (Mixed Messages, Asphalt, Art Style: Pictobits) a couple cheap throwaways (paper airplane, Bird & Beans) and 1 turd (American Popstar).
The lists of games is only getting more exciting though, looking forward to future greatness.

any portable game system can be played on the toilet. perhaps you meant that now you can use the internet as well as play games on the toilet if you prefer, without having to swap out cartridges? i know i definitely love that part, lol. :3
